The studio apartment was beautiful. We had everything that we needed. It was really nice to have sharp knives etc everything that we needed for the kitchen including condiments. The bed was soft and the pillows were not too big. The outdoor patio area had an amazing view and the pool was warm. I would highly recommend it. You might want to take a taxi. At least when you arrive with your luggage. Without luggage the walk up the hill is just fine. My husband is 72 and I’m 71.

Todo excelente, solo la comida se me hizo muy cara, con un menú muy básico.
I liked that it was a small, quiet town. We saw lots of older folks at the restaurants and it looked like they were enjoying themselves. I did not find a bank or money exchange. Wish La Cruz had these. No big supermarket either unfortunately. Was easy for us to get an Uber and did take the bus a couple times. Not sure how often buses run. The mini van transportation to Bucerias seemed plentiful. My family did not find the Sunday Market worthwhile.

We were in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle because we sailed there on our sailing catamaran, and ultimately sold our boat there. We stayed in the town twice during our time in the area and loved the 'Mexican' feel of this small town. With lovely beaches, clean warm water, friendly townspeople, lots of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from, it's a wonderful place to visit. It's not a busy place but there are plenty of visitors around during the winter months. A wonderful farmers and local craftspeople market happens every Sunday from November to May on the 'malecon' (breakwater of the marina) and in the town centre. The only downside to the town is that there is no bank so you have to go to Bucerias to change money or go to an ATM.

We stayed 4 days in La Cruz and had a great time. The city is small and quaint. There are many bars and restaurants to choose from. Not much night live but they do have a 2nd floor bar that plays live music, which we went to twice. You must walk the marina on Sunday when they have there vendor fair, it was awesome.

This town had much going on, from the market on the water to good, interesting restaurants. Masala Grill, Ramone's to name a couple. The beach is a good walking spot and views are very good. My accommodation was about a twenty minute walk from town. A good way to make an appetite!

The lovely hotel is right on the beach. There is pool large enough to swim laps.
The grounds are spectacular--put together by the original owner, an artist, who collected Mexican artifacts, tiles, and gorgeously designed the villa.
The hotel is impressive, beautiful, romantic and special. In the middle of a jubglez you can see monkeys too if you're lucky! The stuff are good too. The room is beautiful, the shower is big and amazing.
Breakfast was fresh ordered and served.
Pool and grounds were beautiful and view stunning!
