It was extremely quiet compared to numerous other places we have stayed in Mexico over the years. The room was huge, the bed was great. There was a refrigerator in the room which was a real plus. The shower was one of the largest I have ever been in, and the hot water was plentiful.

So many natural areas to visit and nice museum too.

So many natural areas to visit and nice museum too. The old town is clean and charming, and many things you would expect in a small mexican town. The place is famous for it's homemade beverages, and coffee. Also Comala is near the Volcano, and nearby Villas de Alvarez, a modern city with all the conveniences. There are several organized tours to explore the forest, mountains and lakes of the area.
