This accommodation was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, Esther warmly welcomed us, provided all the information we needed, and proactively took care of everything.
The property is stunning and impeccably maintained, with beautiful rooms, warm shower water, a pool, hammocks, bean bags, and more. The breakfast was delicious and always more than enough.
We highly recommend having a car, as it makes exploring the surrounding area much easier.
Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and we would recommend it to anyone. We’d love to come back ourselves! It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tulum and truly enjoy a relaxing vacation.

In a single word 'Bliss', waking up to the sounds of the jungle.
My wife and I stayed at Excacel Dream for two weeks and we can't praise it enough. Set away from the road in a jungle setting the hotel provides a quiet haven from the busy coastal strip. With just six rooms this is a very personal experience. Pablo the manager is very kind and accomodation. Max the gardener is always busy keeping the place clean, tidy and well maintained. We loved our time there and were sad to leave.
The local town Chemuyil is a short walk or cycle ride. There are a couple of small cenote, the cave one was our favorite. Chemuyil has a couple of restaurants that we used, but our favorite was La Buena Vida in Akumal just a 15 car journey away.
The road into the hotel is rather bumpy but nothing to worry about, just take it slowly.

Some places in Mexico we’ve experienced unfriendly staff. At Yellow’s Nest staff is kind and polite. We enjoyed the beautiful pool areas every day, and I did yoga every morning with very good instructor.
One day as a total luxury we had the big pool all to ourselves.
Food was very good. Guacomole superb. Would have been nice with coffee options for breakfast - fx cappucino. And freshly pressed juice would also have been nice.

The Itza is a fantastic budget-friendly option for travelers visiting Akumal. We were really happy with our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a comfortable double bed, a bunk bed, and a private bathroom – everything we needed. The location is great too! It's an easy walk 15-20 min walk to Akumal Bay, where we had an amazing time swimming with turtles (definitely get there early before the crowds!)! Back at the hotel, the rooftop pool was a huge bonus, and catching the sunrise from up there was absolutely worth waking up early for. The staff were also incredibly lovely and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.
