The pool area is so relaxing and beautiful, big enough for several groups and we enjoyed food and drink service there all day. Stunning layout with gardens all around and animal sanctuary to explore on trails. The food was phenomenal and the service so friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Really a gem we were so pleased to discover. Feel like I had a week getaway in a weekend. We are going back.

What a wonderful place to unwind! It's nestled in a very unique ecosystem that is a dry, deciduous forest for part of the year and a rainforest the other part of the year. The nature on and around the property is beautiful, a tremendous spot to birdwatch. The architecture is stylish and thoughtful and works well with the natural beauty. The rooms are spacious, and you have access to basically the whole grounds, a lovely soaking pool and a very chic parlor. With so much variety, it will feel like you have an entire estate to yourself. The hosts / builders really went deep into the details to create an ambiance you can relax into, and if you care about this kind of thing, the build quality is commendable. They are perfectionists.
The food was also really tasty, as other commenters have noted. I usually travel at least 75% for the food, but it was good enough for us to not feel the need to use up valuable time trekking out to Merida for dinner. It's right in that sweet spot between refined dining and soulful home cooking. The cocktails were also excellent.
The location is a bit rural, but that's part of the charm. Nearby, there are many cenotes to check out, and because it's not close to Cancun/Tulum, the cenotes are clean, and you can be the only one there, even during peak season. Just know that some of the roads are quite rough once you get off of the ones maintained by the state park.
This charming village-style resort offers lush tropical gardens, air-conditioned rooms and 2 outdoor swimming pools. The beautiful colonial city of Mérida is just 28 mi away.

There’s nothing quite like staying in a working hacienda. And this one is just stunning and has so much history. The cenotes were the highlight, and our horse riding.

This is a lovely hotel located very close to the new Tren Maya station at Teya. Full breakfast is included and if you let them know in advance, the hosts will cook you a lovely dinner. They also dropped us off at the train station the next morning, so that was a real bonus!
As the century old oaken door closes, the world remains behind and you will be transported into an oasis of peace and relaxation. Pebbled paths with lush flowers and sturdy trees welcome you.

Great staff, very unique facility (our building was hobbit-like). The mini cenote pool and jacuzzi were clean and nice. Located in the small town of Homun. Very quiet.
