Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Its location on Dharavandhoo is ideal for exploring the stunning beauty of Baa Atoll, from its pristine beaches to the incredible underwater world of Hanifaru Bay. Clean room and bathroom. Great service from Wilson who has very helpful. Bikini beach is 2 minutes walk. Every day clean towels and beach towels available. The island has beautiful beaches for the tourists. People are very friendly. At the end of the beaches at the picknick beach there is a snorkeling area with stairs going into the sea. The jungle is a beautiful walk. Like most of the islands...there is lot of construction going on. There are really beautiful guesthouses and hotels on the island. The bikini beach has a lot of sunbeds and shadow from the trees. Less beautiful is the garbage you see on some properties. The island has a great supermarket behind the harbour and some really good restaurants. The best restaurant (DFC Restaurant), opened all the day for breakfast, lunch, diner you find at the harbour. Fresh juices, salads, tasteful dishes, fresh fish from the bbq, fresh fruit platters and good prices. Everything is fresh from the own garden on the roof and the greenery on the island. They also provide transfers to the other islands and resorts. Ask in the DFC restaurant for more information and prices. Nearby at the harbour is an shop for diving, fishing and snorkeling excursions for very reasonable prices. Dharavandoo is worth visiting for 4-5 days.

The staff were friendly and so kind starting from the first person we met at the airport until the reception, food was great but the menu need to be upgraded and add some more options , the beach is right next to the hotel which is something beautiful,the room was clean an big enough and the bed was so comfortable,we enjoyed our staying a lot discovering the local island with the lovely island people, unforgettable memories with H ❤️

Property is located right in front of the bikini beach, which was great. The staff are super friendly, and especially Lishan was so helpful and accommodating, including trying to organize activities for the guests when it was raining all day. I would recommend for the staff alone, and the room was clean and spacious as well.

Dharavandhoo Island is not overcrowded with tourists. The island has four restaurants and 2 ATMs. Payments can be made in dollars, euros, or the local currency, and some shops and restaurants also accept bank cards. When ordering food at the restaurant, expect a wait of 60 to 90 minutes for your order to be prepared. We arrived on the island with a local airline. The tickets were arranged at the hotel. There are enough loungers on the sandy beach. Just a few meters from the beach, you reach the edge of the coral reef, which feels like a busy tropical aquarium. The island is an excellent base for divers and excursions. The rooms are spacious, and the equipment is relatively new. The staff is very friendly. Special praise goes to the hotel manager Abdullah Riyaz, who was always available and willing to help. Despite some negative comments about the WiFi in particular reviews, it worked quickly and without interruptions in the room. The Maldivian food and fish were excellent (the preparation of European dishes could be improved).

Boasting barbecue facilities and views of garden, Manta Reserve is situated in Maalhos, a few steps from Bikini Beach.

Beautiful and peaceful spot which is very well cared for place by the family who runs it. My baggage didn't arrive with me and they were exceptionally helpful in getting it sorted for me, by calling the airline and tracking it down. They were always very responsive and helpful. I arrived on my birthday and they prepared a couple of little birthday treats for me which was much appreciated. The meals are served in the lush garden. Everything is prepared with great care and the wait staff are gentle and welcoming. Overall it was a little slice of the luxury Maldives experience, without the high ticket prices of the Maldives.
