Everyone at the Cocoon Maldives made our honeymoon incredible. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and the accommodations were world class. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer!

Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa, hotel in Lhaviyani Atoll

Surrounded by lagoons and marine life, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa is located in Thilamaafushi, a natural island surrounded by blue lagoons.

Overall the hotel met all expectations as advertised. Staff/service was exceptional. Food options were pretty good (although expensive, as expected in Maldives). Resort is new. Room size was not exceptionally big but was considered good value for the price. The process to get from Male to the resort island was also very easy - thanks to the staff on the ground. All of the activities you could ask for in the Maldives is also available. There is also a private island dining option which is nice.

One The Island, hotel in Lhaviyani Atoll

One The Island provides beachfront accommodations in Naifaru. This guest house provides a shared lounge.

Nargiz and the whole One The Island team are all so helpful, polite, kind and warm people. Thank you for all you have done for us. The room is nice and lovely. All facilities are very clean and well maintained. Interior is sweet, and there is a big beautiful table on the 1st floor where you can spend some time if you don't want to sit in the room. They offer continental or maldivean breakfast, it is homemade and very delicious. Nargiz also helped us to arrange all transfers and our diving tour, although the latter we cancelled because of our private issues (not related to the hotel). Once again, thank you for those few days. Wish you all the best!

Hurawalhi Island Resort, hotel in Lhaviyani Atoll

Hurawalhi Island Resort offers accommodations in Hurawalhi. The resort has an outdoor pool and spa center. Every room at this resort is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV.

I don't know where to begin in describing how incredible Hurawalhi is, if you have the chance to stay here, do it! The property: Pristine. The facilities, walkways, beaches, everything is always clean and gorgeously maintained by the incredible staff. The rooms: So comfortable, spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed was so comfortable and we loved how the shower connected directly to your patio so you could come straight from the ocean or pool into the shower. Shimree was our daily housekeeper and he took care of our room so well, and left a beautiful birthday decoration and cake for my husband. The snorkeling: The reefs are incredible. You can swim straight from your room to where the reef meets the channel so you can see an incredible diversity of sea life big and small - reef sharks, turtles, rays and so many colorful fish! If you stay in the shallows by the rooms you can still see lots of fish and fish nurseries, but the best snorkeling is along the edge where the reef drops off. Scuba: We completed our scuba certification at Hurawalhi and it was amazing. We got to take the boat out to a different reef for each lesson, so we saw so much unique sea life! The equipment was in great shape and the whole scuba team was excellent. Thank you Jean! Food: The food and experience at 5.8 was amazing and I highly recommend it despite the cost. We also loved the food at Kashibo and highly recommend going all-inclusive so you can enjoy any restaurant at any time without thinking about the price. Canneli was also great food, but we prefer a sit-down meal over buffet which was most nights at Canneli. The poolside bar and JFK had great lunches and cocktails! Staff: Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Yum was our host and was always so kind. Everyone at the Coco bar was so helpful and fun! We looked forward to hanging out at our spot by the pool each day and seeing everyone, we miss you all every day!

We mostly stayed on the Jawakara island, so can't answer for the rest of the atoll, which looked lovely from the one boat trip we did. A la carte restaurants were the best at our resort, and the fodd was good value, just the drinks were very expensive.

    Beautiful, pristine nature and sea.

Beautiful, pristine nature and sea. Innahura Island resort is small, but just enough for relaxed unpretentious vacation on Maldives. Here you can really connect with nature and tropical way of life. Overall, I will gladly visit it again ☺️

Really beautiful area of the Maldives that you have to see to believe. Getting there via Seaplane may be the best part of your trip. We loved that it was so far away from MLE and the closer resorts. Seems like travelers who only fly into MLE and hop on a speedboat or ferry to a nearby resort aren't really seeing that much of the Maldives. Getting to Lhaviyani provides the opportunity to see a ton of resorts and islands and get a feel for how spread out the Maldives are. Every resort we saw, including Innahura where we stayed, was breathtakingly beautiful with amazing water and beaches. We loved it.
