Hotel is absolutely stunning and modern. The owner is a truly wonderful guy who showed us the house reef, took us to the Shipwreck and took pictures and videos, and tought us so much about the nature and wildlife of Maldives. The food and service was absolutely fenomenal, we felt like we are guests in a resort! The last day they prepared us an amazing dinner at the beach which we didn't expect at all. While diving at the house reef (which is tight next to the hotel) we managed to see a ton of turtles, sharks, some stingrays and every fish imaginable, even clownfish! If you are visiting Keyodhoo you this is the place to stay!

We had the best stay here. We had a sunset water bungalow with the jacuzzi - the sunsets were incredible and we saw so much marine life! The accomodation is immaculate, great shower and products, comfy bed, great aircon, lots of storage/space, mini bar and even jackets for the odd night it’s raining.
The team are awesome, nothing was too much trouble and always a friendly smile. Everything happens promptly.
Food was amazing! Room service was great too.
Recommend the seaplane - we took the speed boat but it was a rough 90 min crossing, got the seaplane back and while it was more expensive it was way more comfortable.
It’s worth considering the all inclusive ‘plus’ if you want alcohol in your room - we went all inclusive and it was a little more restricting than I anticipated - you’re not easily able to take bar drinks back to your villa but you sometimes want to hangout there!

This hotel will stay in our memories for years to come. We travel extensively and have seen many hotels along the way, but this one is truly memorable.
- Communication with Raphael was easy and timely. All necessary information was provided quickly and in detail. The meeting with Raphael was extraordinary: he told us the story of the island, its attractions, and much more, including interesting details.
- The organization was convenient, and most importantly, the prices were affordable, especially compared to the prices on other islands and the cost of airport transfers.
- The rooms were a haven of modern decor, exuding a sense of freshness, tidiness, and order. The pleasant scent that always greeted us added to the feeling of comfort. Our beds, adorned with flowers, were a testament to the hotel's attention to detail and commitment.
- Everything was well thought out down to the smallest details: from beach towels, always ready and clean, to daily excursions, such as snorkeling with sharks and turtles and observing stunning underwater landscapes with colorful fish, and night and morning fishing. Everything was at hand, from swimming equipment to boats and service staff.
- And, of course, the excellent chef! The food was always varied and delightful! And if you're lucky enough to catch fish, the next day, you can enjoy your catch or order something exotic – like sashimi from your own catch. The superb sauces and exquisite preparation added a unique taste to the already superb selection of dishes.
We left this hotel with a nostalgic feeling—as if we were leaving our home, where we always wanted to return and where we were always welcomed with joy! A huge thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing Experience at Tranquil Nest Vaavu!
Our stay at Tranquil Nest Vaavu was absolutely perfect! The most important thing to mention is that the hotel looks exactly like in the pictures, which is a rare find. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, and the entire staff made us feel at home. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had the best experience possible.
A special shoutout to Acho, the manager, who is exceptionally kind and helpful. He took us on an unforgettable shark excursion, which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. His passion and care for guests make a huge difference!
The food at Tranquil Nest Vaavu is delicious, with a great variety of options. My personal favorite was the chickpea curry, which is a must-try! Every meal was fresh and flavorful, adding to the overall amazing experience.
Beyond that, the scenery is breathtaking, with stunning ocean views that make every moment feel like paradise. If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy nature, and be treated like family, this is it!

Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins. Great sandy beaches, beautiful crystal clear waters, plenty of sea life (fish, rays, turtles, reef sharks etc) that all can be observed from the beach or from your over-water bungalow. One side of the island looks out to open sea and the other side of the islands looks towards neighboring islands in the same atoll. The walk from the room to the reception area or the restaurant or the dive shop are all 5-10 mins (but some rooms are much closer to the facilities such as the beach bungalows). Our room was 501 which was one of the Pool Suites. There are 4 pool suites in total. Room 501 has access to the snorkeling reef and at low tide you can enjoy your own private swimming pool. The staff said that Room 501 was the best of the Pool Suites so ask for this room specifically. The restaurant has an amazing selection of food from many different cultures (Indian, Sri Lankan, Maldives, Japanese, Korean, western cuisine...) and always an abundance of fresh produce, fruits, salads. If you take up the All Inclusive dining package then all meals and drinks - even cocktails by the pool - are included. Also included the mini bar in your room however this is only restocked daily. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. The room was cleaned daily and the pool was cleaned every 2nd day. What I really appreciated was the pool cleaner asking me if I wanted to add chlorine to the pool. I opted to NOT add chlorine as the pool water flows over the infinity edge into the reef. Having the pool vacuumed every 2nd day was also not necessary but the staff were happy to assist and wanted to make sure you had a great stay. We visited Velifushi in April 2024 which was lovely weather around 32 Deg C. We had a few brief storms that lasted no more than 10 mins during the early hours of the morning but the daytimes were great weather. Highly recommend Velifushi to you.
