My partner and I visited Gangehi for a week and we had a wonderful stay at the resort. We went scuba diving, snorkelling and canoeing around the island and did plenty of lounging around too! The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was varied and delicious and the island is a stunning tropical paradise. The diving around the island is also brilliant with so many large fish to see like mantas and sharks. We will definitely be back to explore more of the local dive sights and sea creatures and chill out again at Gangehi in the future.

Arrived earlier than expected and greeted by the friendliest staff ..was given my room at 09:30 am.
Property right on the bikini beach ..had fab sea view room ..small fridge ..water..tea coffee and kettle.
Plenty of sun loungers and snorkelling bits available to rent.
Very comfy bed..Wi-Fi a bit dodge but down stairs was grand.
Great buffet brekkie ..fab selection and eggs any style made to order ..nothing a problem..always plenty of water .in recycling glass bottles ..as much as you wanted.
Great value evening dinner..always a surprise..again a buffet ..very reasonably priced .
Had lovely Christmas Eve dinner on the beach and the staff went to great effort to make it great Christmas.
Everyone on this island very friendly .shop at the corner and small gift shop beside it

The staff were amazing. So kind and helpful from the very first emails explaining how the arrival process. Then the sweet and kind Srushti met us as the pier. She helpfully explained all the things we needed to know about the island, including a few safety tips about the currents. We were much more in the know that other tourists on the island. Srushti was very helpful with any question or request, or even clarifications about cultural customs in the area. The island was delightful. The people are charming. This is the place you want to go!

It had a very nice relaxed location, especially the area for yoga are the upstairs area chilling was very very nice.

The view, the food, the activities and just the feeling of being in a resort in Maldives. Gangehi hit each aspect perfectly.
The staff were friendly - always with a smile and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be coming back to Gangehi for our next trip to Maldives.

Gangehi Island resort was a dream resort - this is one of the best places to visit in Maldives.
Myself and my wife had requested vegetarian meal - the breakfast and dinner had so many options that we were eating 3 plates every day. The rooms were amazing. The shower idea that has you hearing the ocean while shower just brought that extra special feeling.
To be able to open your balcony door, go out and straight into the Indian ocean.
Amazing friendly staff - always wishing you well.

the island is superb with a nice stretch of sand bar to walk along
the villas on the water were very convenient as you could just walk down into the water
the entertainment was nice (Karaoke night, fashion night and bingo/tombola night)
the aquatic scenery was beautiful including black tip sharks, and hundreds of colorful fish
Staff were good, nice view, i like the activity there, you can request a jet ski and other sea activities but a little expensive, you can go to another local island but its more expensive 40$++ each person and its not worth it tbh because it is quite no activities and only three shops.
Spa lady was so good, and also the reception were so helpful.
