The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. They took good care of us. They organized the transfers and we got a very nice breakfast box (to go) when we had to leave early for diving. The hotel is family run and we were treated very warmly. Thank you!

Areef is super friendly and hard working owner, if you need something, just tell him and its done. Perfect accomodation with stunning garden. Island is small, full of local life, if you want to experience Maldives on its own, here is the right place.

I opted for the half-board package, which included breakfast and dinner buffets but no lunch. The breakfast menu was almost 80% the same every day, which was disappointing. Dinner, on the other hand, offered a bit more variety each day. However, it was extremely disappointing that no soft drinks were included in the half-board package—only water was provided. Purchasing a soft drink separately was an option, but the prices were exorbitant! There is a permanent Indian food station available for all meals, including breakfast, so if you love indian food this place is ideal.

First of all the location is right at the bright main street. You could hear noises but i am a noise sensitive person and the street noises it did absolutely not disturb me.
Next door is a great diving center and also a small shop with everything you might need.
The room is nicely equipped and clean. I was able to choose my preferred breakfast time and it was freshly cooked for me. Coffe/Tea, eggs, toast and sausages as locally ususal. There is also another way to get breakfast at the local "blue moon" coffe. I am not much of a breakfat person so i didn't really choose this a lot.
One can use the kitchen as well, but i almost never did. There is a big fridge and everything you need. The washing machine wasnt the strongest but absolutely helpful and did its thing. I could choose between two washing detergents.
The common room can be used to sit and play or whatever but i was also able to hang my laundry. Nicely equipped as well.
The landlord is excepionally nice and asked me proactively if i needed something or if everything is ok. I could have booked tours with him as well, but i was still learning to dive so i went with the dive center. He was so helpful and polite and i could ask him anything, he would assist. Thank you very much.
On average, 3-star hotels in Dhangethi cost £80 per night, and 4-star hotels in Dhangethi are £282 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Dhangethi can on average be found for £545 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like.
Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed.
However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

The staff tries to keep it very clean. They are friendly and would help with anything. The food is varied and very rich. The massage therapists are at a very good level. I did not like the markup of goods in the only store. The ratio is ten times.

Firstly to clarify the resort is located in Theluveligaa, not Dhangethi. Theluveligaa is a small island, I was a solo traveller (mid 30s female) the water villa is amazing and the outside space is spacious with a lot of seating options. I hardly spent time on the beach. The resort itself is very quiet even when full. There are no motorised sports however you can kayak, snorkel and dive (you can get your licence there) and do other trips: Whale Sharks, Mantas, Turtles. The food options are good, drinks are expensive a juice will set you back $18 staff are friendly, especially the dive instructors (Julia & Ebu) and receptionist (Maria) I would definitely recommend this resort and felt safe on my own.

Quiet, lovely colourful houses, quite small but surrounded by other islands. Head for the jetty especially at sunset. Two recommended cafes/ restaurants: Compass with its verandah dining tables where you can watch rays and baby nurse sharks being fed at dusk - the maitre d’ - Sampath was charming and obliging and the food was amazing. Try also the Blue Moon Cafe with the equally charming Anup as maitre d’. Not much coral as the island is surrounded by sea grass

A beautiful location. with some good snorkeling, which is provided by "Mother Nature" not the resort.
In all other respects the resort is poor to terrible.
We paid £10,500 for 10 days A.I.P; party of 4 in two poorly maintained Jacuzzi water villas. (Not a Jacuzzi- brand name - a Sovereign Spa Hot tub.)
Some services offered simply don't work, and management are fully aware of this but continue to advertise.
Guests are treated with disdain and rudeness by client relations team/management who are not visible.
Included trips - Sunset Punch / Dhangethi are an excuse to try and take some more cash from their guests.
They offer only excuses...."we are on an island so it is difficult to.....(insert complaint here)"
"All Inclusive MInus" is a better description of their package.
Got much better service, food, accommodation and customer care in Mauritius/Zanzibar/Thailand/Florida/Dubai/Turkey/Madeira/Cyprus/ Marakech etc etc.

The great place to just relax and do nothing.
The great place to just relax and do nothing. Its a small island so don't expect very busy night life. But the beach is great, local snorkeling and diving is great. Local people are great. So a must see location.

First I have to say, Thank you to Areef and family. I traveled alone and they treated me absolutely wonderful!
Sky View is a little Boutique Guesthouse, with a lovely little garden area and a swing.
The room was perfect and clean. Sky view is in the perfect area for a “quiet and comfy” vacation. Dhangethi is great island to be. Furthermore the food is local and very delicious.
Areef the host can help you with anything. Excursions, diving and everything. I definitely recommend.
We had a unique time in Raalhu Dhangethi!!The room was very comfortable and modern!Everything we needed was there even a shared kitchen in the guesthouse! The owner organised very nice excursion for us!we had an unforgettable time in Dhangeht and we will come back soon!thank you for your excellent hospitality!
We had the best stay at Antares Dhangethi.
This place is Home away from Home and We highly recommend it.
Maldinvian hospitality at its best.
AD is placed right at the Beach - Rooms are Nice and clean.
The staff is extreamly helpfull and went above and beyond for us.
Thank you ❤️
We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Atoll Residence Dhangethi . It exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Assad's team deserves a special mention for their outstanding service and helpful recommendations.
Next time you are like: "mhh, where should I stay in dhangethi?" Just book night star. Amazing host, clean and spacious room, very close to the public beach, restaurants and the harbour for excursions. Don't even need to consider the other more expensive choices.
