I spent 1 week here and was very happy with my choice. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and at ease. The manager and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. It’s the best location on the island, just a foot step away from the bikini beach and right at a calmer and smaller beach where they also serve your food. You will also find 4 restaurants few foot steps away. I enjoyed my spacious room and the daily very clean room cleaning. I also enjoyed the snorkling with mantas and whale sharks they offer among many other trips. A much needed nice and relaxing vacation after bustling India.

Very nice small hotel, with beautiful garden and a pool (which is rare at the island). Rooms are clean, confortable, staff is kind and attentive. Location is excellent, on the "main street", close to the jetty in one direction and the harbour on the other.

Very helpful stuff and clean room. Breakfast every morning was organized in the nice garden with full of mango trees. Hotel is located not far from bikini beach so it is a big advantage.

The owner and staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful, we felt very welcome. The owner organised a boat trip out to see the turtles and the two guides on the boat were great- very friendly and informative.
The hotel is on the beach and only a couple of minutes walk to the bikini beach.
The food was good, breakfast and evening meal was slightly different every day. All of the staff provided quick service and kept an eye if you ever needed anything.

Had an amazaing stay at Lilys. The island’s house reef is amazing! We snorkeled with colorful fishes and reef sharks. The island itself is lush and feels like a tropical paradise.
The buffet in the evening was great. The food was fantastic at Vibes and Aqua.
All the staff they are amazing and will take care of you. As a cocktail lover, I was impressed—every drink was perfectly prepared!

Indeed, we were very lucky to stay in Dhangethi INN. Hospitality of Ahmed exceeded all our expectations!
The room is clean and spacious( AC, kettle), common area is very cozy.
There is a nice small corner shop 1 min walk. We alternated two cafés nearby for lunch and dinner.( Compass and Blue Moon).
But the true highlight of the stay is ocean trips with Ahmed! You will bring back home a lot of valuable memories to treasure. We met turtles, mantas and a whale shark! Ahmed does his best to find the creatures and to film the best possible videos for his guests! Going to a night snork is highly recommended as well, very exciting!
If you visit Maldives for the first time, there is no better place to stay. A place for nature lovers!
PS we had our own masks and fins, however Ahmed has some to lend as well.
On average, 3-star hotels in Dhangethi cost £84 per night, and 4-star hotels in Dhangethi are £401 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Dhangethi can on average be found for £707 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like.
Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed.
However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

The staff tries to keep it very clean. They are friendly and would help with anything. The food is varied and very rich. The massage therapists are at a very good level. I did not like the markup of goods in the only store. The ratio is ten times.

Firstly to clarify the resort is located in Theluveligaa, not Dhangethi. Theluveligaa is a small island, I was a solo traveller (mid 30s female) the water villa is amazing and the outside space is spacious with a lot of seating options. I hardly spent time on the beach. The resort itself is very quiet even when full. There are no motorised sports however you can kayak, snorkel and dive (you can get your licence there) and do other trips: Whale Sharks, Mantas, Turtles. The food options are good, drinks are expensive a juice will set you back $18 staff are friendly, especially the dive instructors (Julia & Ebu) and receptionist (Maria) I would definitely recommend this resort and felt safe on my own.

Quiet, lovely colourful houses, quite small but surrounded by other islands. Head for the jetty especially at sunset. Two recommended cafes/ restaurants: Compass with its verandah dining tables where you can watch rays and baby nurse sharks being fed at dusk - the maitre d’ - Sampath was charming and obliging and the food was amazing. Try also the Blue Moon Cafe with the equally charming Anup as maitre d’. Not much coral as the island is surrounded by sea grass

A beautiful location. with some good snorkeling, which is provided by "Mother Nature" not the resort.
In all other respects the resort is poor to terrible.
We paid £10,500 for 10 days A.I.P; party of 4 in two poorly maintained Jacuzzi water villas. (Not a Jacuzzi- brand name - a Sovereign Spa Hot tub.)
Some services offered simply don't work, and management are fully aware of this but continue to advertise.
Guests are treated with disdain and rudeness by client relations team/management who are not visible.
Included trips - Sunset Punch / Dhangethi are an excuse to try and take some more cash from their guests.
They offer only excuses...."we are on an island so it is difficult to.....(insert complaint here)"
"All Inclusive MInus" is a better description of their package.
Got much better service, food, accommodation and customer care in Mauritius/Zanzibar/Thailand/Florida/Dubai/Turkey/Madeira/Cyprus/ Marakech etc etc.

The great place to just relax and do nothing.
The great place to just relax and do nothing. Its a small island so don't expect very busy night life. But the beach is great, local snorkeling and diving is great. Local people are great. So a must see location.

From the moment I arrived, the resort exceeded my expectations. The staff provided impeccable service, and I want to highlight the outstanding work of Bayzid, who went above and beyond to ensure our hotel room was a comfortable haven. The level of cleanliness throughout the resort was remarkable, and the pristine condition of the pool added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. In every aspect, our experience was flawless, making it a truly perfect getaway.
All the staff are very friendly, they helped us to book the speedboat. They organized some tours like fishing in the afternoon, whale shark and manta trip. It was really amazing! We did a bbq on the beach with them , spending a good time! We recommend them 100%. They have also watersports , so it is so easy to do many things in Dhangethi!
Communication with the hotel prior to the arrival was very good. The staffs were always very attentive. There are plenty of food options (mostly meat) and they use a lot of spices. Facilities are good and well maintained.
We came to this place for some peaceful days off and found exactly what we wanted. Manta Dhangethi is a beautiful peaceful and cozy place with very modern rooms and I can absolutely recommended a stay at this place.
