Meedhoo Island is very clean, with a friendly community. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing. Additionally, there are two beautiful resorts located right next to Meedhoo in the same lagoon, which I visit whenever I feel like it. The entrance fee is just a few dollars, making it very accessible. I recommend staying in Meedhoo for a budget-friendly experience while also enjoying the luxury of Maldives resorts.

New site, new project, clean & comfy, nice welcome with fresh coconuts, good wifi, quiet location, Ashfam was very helpful and friendly, free airport shuttle, also organises moped rental.

We only stayed one night, since we were going on liveaboard dive boat. Seemed like a nice island to stay on for a couple of days. Not sure there is enough to do to spend a week there, but I am sure you could use it as a base and take day trips to other locations. The people were very friendly and welcoming.

Gan is set to grow and is great for budget accommodation seekers.
It's developing so don't expect pristine urban area. Beach and stuff are great and in three to eight years it will be booming. My prediction.
Rough around the edges now but safe and worth the trip.
