Lux definitely knows how to spoil their guests- we went there as part of our honeymoon trip and we got spoils all along our stay.
The room was very clean and gifts were waiting for us right as we came.
The beach was the best one we have been to on our 2-weeks stay and all the food we’ve had was great.

Spacious apartment, reasonably quipted kitchen, friendly owners, and my highlight West facing terrace for waching sunsets. The owners kindly shared with us one night a delicious home cooked meal, which was very tasty. Lots of space for drying kite gear.

Chalets Chamarel - Let's just start with what we first fell in love with - There we were staying on top of a mountain and in front of us lied what has to be the most Amazing View in all of Mauritius!
However, We cannot fail to mention the most wonderful welcome that we received from the staff especially Sachin who looked after us at the Sea Forest Restaurant located on site. Right from the delicious afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast all served with outstanding professionalism and friendliness!
We also appreciated the beautiful bed decorations made by our room maid Benedicht!

Tamassa Bel Ombre is a wonderful hotel located by the sea beach in a very quite place. It is very well organized and perfectly managed - no crowds, no queues, well groomed lawns and beach.
Staff: wonderful people, friendly, very helpful, always available for your needs.
Guests are met at the reception with welcome drinks and cold towels to cool and clean your face and hands after a long driving.
Currency: if you need local currency, it is possible to exchange in the hotel
Parking: within the guarded area, plenty of room for parking
Rooms: very clean with view on the sea, green lawns, palm trees; the bed is of a real king-size, comfortable; rooms are equipped with air-conditioners and safes.
Restaurants: plenty of food points where you can eat, take a drink or snack during a day. There are two restaurant, a buffet style (tasty and with good variety, local and European styles) + a la card restaurant.
Spa facilities: baths, sauna, steaming room, massages, etc. (all included in the room price)
Sport facilities: tennis, ball sports, big enough gym with different machines (all included in the room price)
Aqua facilities: two big swimming pools (we did not try them) + a boat house on the beach, where you can take a canoe, a catamaran, a puddle board or order a snorkeling trip to a coral reef.
Medical facility: to our surprise, there is a medical help available in the hotel 24/7 (included in the room price)
We did enjoy every moment of our stay in Tamassa Bel Ombre and if we travel to Mauritius again, we will come back to this hotel, indeed.

The apartment at Tam Studio was lovely. It felt very modern and there was plenty of space and a small well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and it was cleaned daily.
It’s situated just off the main road in La Gaulette in a quiet residential street and there are some good restaurants nearby. There are no beaches in the village, but it’s only a ten minute drive to Le Morne beach.
The owners were easy to contact through booking.com and made sure that my stay was comfortable.
I would definitely stay here again if I come back to this beautiful island.

Not a good hotel for winter visits. Best rooms face South so no sun until 4pm. Hotel was about 20% occupancy resulting in no "buzz", facilities open part time and food on buffet not consumed quickly enough to be fresh.

The suite in the JW Marriott Hotel was very spacious and clean. The balcony had a beautiful view overlooking tbe ocean, comfortable bench and chairs.

We chose to stay here because it was all inclusive, but it was definitely not worth it. The food was not very good, and the room was very basic and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and with low quality sheets. I would have much rather stayed in a nicer room and bought my meals separately elsewhere.

Le Morne is a national park and an imposing background to several luxury hotels. We admired it from the beach only and did not attempt the climb. There is not much else to do in the area apart from relax at one of the hotels - unless you wind surf. We had a car and did not find much in the way of shops or restaurants. Best choose a nice hotel and go full board or all-inclusive.

Every local maurician will tell you thay if you are looking at beauty and quiet area (the nigh life is not like filc en flac) le morne and the beachcomber resorts is one of the best choice on the island. No question asked, when we return we will go back at le Morne area and the south of the island, this is paradise

As this was our honeymoon, we were searching for something special - and HOW special this stay has been! We absolutely can recommend LUX Le Morne in every part :) Everything from the rooms over the food, the beach and all the activities has been outstanding and made us so happy. The hotel staff is beyond friendly, but on a an eye-level.
LUX promises to make the stay extraordinary with experiences like YOGA at the beach or an urchin-tasting at VIK´s place. Thank you everybody for making our stay so wonderful.
The apartments are amazing. Swimming pool is very nice and all the amenities you need for a perfect stay. You can perfectly hang around a full day at the property. Otherwise le morne beach is close by which also perfect. I would recommend renting a car on the island because its the easiest te get around.
It's a hidden gem in Le Morne where you will truly have the local experience and a Home away from Home. I booked for one night and extended as Sooreka ( the guestlady) took such good care of me
I didn't have to think of anything , tours, food, experiences, you name it - Sooreka took care of it all.
We loved staying here. The view from the terrace was amazing! It’s close to a supermarket and many restaurants, and in driving distance to the beach in Le Morne. The host was so sweet and welcoming! We recommend renting the kayak and go to Ile aux Benitiers, it felt like paradise.
