The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. They organised transport, booked a local restaurant for us and were always available for anything we needed. The room was spacious and clean and the swimming pool was a welcome extra. The hotel is a very short walk to a nice sandy beach.

Great location, sitting out area, food was good, staff were mostly good. Blue Bay public beach next door was very nice.

The beach in bouchon is not really a beach, and I found a herd of cows in the sea, which while hilarious, didn’t encourage me to lie down next to them to sun bathe. I ended up going to La Cambuse, which is an amazing beach, which an excellent resort where you can have lunch.
However, I took taxi’s from place to place, and I was on my own - the taxi driver and his friend figured out I was staying on my own in a vacant house (only for a couple of hours to shower before leaving for the airport) and after dropping me off they both came back and were trying to get into the property - I almost called the police when they gave up and left, so solo female travelers be very careful here.
