A lovely hotel, on a beautiful part of the island. The staff were great, rooms were really spacious and clean, and it was a 10/10 breakfast! We loved our stay so much that we changed our plans to go back to Seasense for an extra night. Would highly recommend.

- Will definitely recommend this place. It’s true heaven on Earth. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Almost everything was perfect here.

Special thanks to Roshan, Andreas, Anu, Eric, Gangadin, Luxmi, Aldo, and Didier for their warmth, attentiveness, and incredible hospitality. Each interaction with them made us feel valued and welcomed. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully curated, making it a truly luxurious and relaxing getaway.
The dining experience at La Terass and La Pointe was outstanding, with delicious food that delighted our taste buds every time. The ambiance and service further elevated the experience, leaving us feeling as if we were in paradise.
There were a few areas for improvement:
1. While the staff’s warmth and courtesy shone brightly, the hotel itself lacked the authentic Mauritian cultural elements we experienced during our external tours. Adding more local influences in decor, music, or activities could enhance the connection to Mauritius.
2. The kids’ club was well-suited for younger children but offered little to engage older tweens and teens. Expanding programming for this age group would be a welcome addition.
3. The evening entertainment could benefit from incorporating more authentic Mauritian vibes, such as traditional music and dance, to immerse guests in the local culture.
Despite these minor shortcomings, the genuine care and effort from the staff, along with the outstanding culinary and overall experience, made our stay incredibly memorable. This hotel truly excels in hospitality, and we would gladly return for another visit.

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

Staff are very friendly but sadly some wrong information was given us about the sunrise from our room with a view. It turned out the sunrise was further to our right. But the tip did make us get up early to watch the sunrise

We arrived on Christmas Eve at Stunning Belle Mare Beachfront Apartment and the moment we were in the villa, we immediately called the owners to extend our stay. They were indeed very helpful, friendly and humble. We found everything truly perfect in every regard to spend quality time together. Rooms are clean and cozy, good wifi, hot water, kitchen well equipped, right sized pool, beautiful ocean view, peaceful atmosphere. This place is value for money and safe. If you want some extra fun, Aqua City is just five minutes away. I believe it's these little things that made our stay so special. It was just a break from our daily life. I highly recommend this villa if you want to relax with family. We will definitely come back again. It is the perfect place to relax.

It us not 100% safe to walk in the sand barefoot.

I had a great stay at the Long Beach Hotel, which is definitely deserving of its 5-star rating. The staff were cool and friendly, always willing to help, which made the experience even better. The facilities were superb, providing everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Entertainment was good, though the Sega night could definitely be improved. Overall, it was a great experience—definitely worth it—and I’m looking forward to coming
We were relocated to Seapoint Boutique Hotel due to renovation so this is regarding Seapoint, not Seasense:
- the staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, making sure along every step of the way to please the guests- this is really a big one. Best regards to manager Sanjeer!
- Hotel is goodlooking and intimate which is amazing
- there’s a pancake station during breakfast which was great
- you can rent bicycles for free

Everything is very nice and organized, all the rooms have a view of the ocean, the resort is very well maintained, the beach is very large and not crowded, the services are at the level of a 5-star hotel, the rooms are cleaned twice a day, the buffet dinner is very good, the products are of quality, the prices are normal for the services received.
