Staff was nice , but not helpful . At dinner I asked about the Uni that needed to be refilled and they kept saying let me find out and never did . During the day it was hard to find staff at the beach side and they packed away all the beach furniture early . Our room had a private pool and it was so hot at 35/36 Celsius , it’s suppose to be around 28 . We asked the staff to take off the heater cause during the day it’s really hot plus the pool heated to 35 degrees was unbearable staff came to check the pool
Temperature with a monitor and said the heat was turned off but it stayed 35 Celsius . The beach is not very swimmable very rocky , It’s more a beach for those who prefer to lay out and go in the pool. The hotel says 24/7 room service but it ends at 11pm . The beach restaurant had good bar snacks . Also no elevators only one at the reception to go to the restaurant it was very inconvenient with a baby .

Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere. We were fine with a good dinner and the occasional musician but some might find it boring. We used a driver but if not then you’d need a car to get round the island. It was cyclone season so mixed weather but in general the North of the island has drier sunnier weather than the South.

wonderful and chearful resort design, I liked it so much. there are free and paid activities it is very good for families. 12 minutes from seewoosagur ramgoolam botanic garden and 15 minutes from port luis by taxi. there are 2 resturants and bar on the beach, there is delicious hot snack bufffet ( 4 - 5 pm).

The most enjoyable stay we ever experienced in a hotel. The service was first class and every wish was fullfiled in a manner we could not have dreamed of. Food was exceptional and to resort was wunderful.
Overall our time at the Ravenala Attitude hotel was good. The water sports and equipment options were good. Good location. Good beach games for adults and older kids.
