The room was large and airy with a great sea view. The hotel is well located in St. Julians close to all the amenities. Whilst you are close to everything the hotel is an oasis of calm away from the busy roads. The breakfast buffet offers a wide choice and the staff are very friendly. Our first night we arrived late and ate at the lobby restaurant. The food was excellent. Special thanks to Andrii Putria the service express supervisor for assistance with the booking and to the concierge Joseph for arranging a guide to take us to Gozo at the last minute.

Very nicely decorated for the Christmas season. It’s located within walking distance of pretty much anything (food, shopping, etc). By walking distance, I mean maybe a mile round trip. The staff were nice and friendly, the breakfast was pretty good as well. It was €12.50 per person unless you prepaid when making a reservation. For the price, you can’t beat it.

I had a wonderful stay at Juliani! The room was clean, spacious, and bright, with a lovely view over the bay. I’m particularly grateful for the complimentary upgrade—it truly made my stay special. The staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming.
Before my visit, I was worried about potential humidity issues since I had a problematic experience last year at a different hotel in Valletta, where the room smelled of mold. It is my understanding that this is a more common issue in Valletta, because of the humidity. However, this time, there were no such issues. The room and the hotel, in general, were impeccably maintained, and I didn’t notice any humidity problems at all. Just for this safety (but for other things as well) I would definitelly stay here again.
The proximity to the water was another bonus, very convinient for walks along the water. Another plus is that the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. There is a super well equipped Welbees market near the hotel. Also a plus that they had moisturiser cream in the bathroom, slippers and a bathrope.
I also had a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was fantastic!

Our stay at Hotel Juliani was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the kind and attentive staff, who were always ready to assist us and made us feel truly welcome. Their service was outstanding and left a lasting impression.
The dining experience was a highlight of our trip. The Michelin-recommended Zest Restaurant offered an exquisite culinary journey with flavorful combinations and impeccable service. We enjoyed the Sylvester menu and were thoroughly satisfied. Breakfast at the Juliani Café was equally delightful, featuring a vast buffet selection, including fresh juices, various coffee options, and eggs cooked to order.
The Royal Spa within the hotel was another highlight. The package we chose included lunch at the Juliani Café, and we highly recommend this experience. The spa was relaxing, professional, and added an extra layer of indulgence to our stay.
Our room was stunning, filled with natural light and offering a breathtaking view of Spinola Bay from the balcony. The room was impeccably clean, and all amenities were thoughtfully provided, including bathrobes, slippers, and luxury toiletries.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of St Julian’s, providing easy access to local attractions while maintaining a peaceful and quiet ambiance in the rooms.

The best part is the vicinity of Valetta, the public transport system and the abundance of restaurants and bars. However, I recommend St Julian’s if you are a party person who loves going out clubbing as there are many night clubs and different kinds of music genres.
I ate at a restaurant called Storie and Sapori - an Italian restaurant with great food; and also at TexMex American Bar and grill where I also had coctails and coffee in the morning. I recommend both places.

Nice up and coming area, various areas are under construction and it seems to be where the nightlife is. Valletta is probably a better more sophisticated area of Malta, but if you are after some night life and something close to Magaluf, then St Julian's is for you.
If you'd prefer something a tad more classier, aim for Valletta.

The hotel, the stuff, breakfast and all experience in general was very pleasant. It close to everything, takes not more than 30 min to go over the whole island. Very nice and helpful stuff, rooms are clean, bar downstairs and beautiful view from the last floor where we enjoy our breakfast and pool. Very nice breakfast, also vegan options provided. Very nice experience, for sure will come back if will visit Malta again.
Breakfast was great. Loads of variety and they even catered to my wife needing Gluten Free toast and pancakes. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are cleaned daily and we would definitely stay at this hotel if we ever returned to Malta.
