We loved the world class Hammam and Spa with sauna, steamroom, pool and services. The outdoor pools were nice, the property beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious, the English high tea service and food at the restaurants very good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice but the room itself was drab, dark and needed updating to give it life.
Overlooking Marsalforn Bay, the Calypso features a rooftop swimming pool with sun deck and cocktail bar. The hotel lies on Gozo, 6.2 mi from the Ferry Terminal with connections to Malta.

Huge clean room. Cleanliness. Friendly staff. Close to beach and restaurants.
Nadur sits on top of a Plato.
Like all villages in Gozo the used to farm or fish.
It is now mainly geared for tourism and there are a lot of accommodation to choose from.
There are several restaurants and bars.
Which get very busy on weekends so book early.
People are friendly and welcoming.
Roads are narrow.
Children play in the streets but no-one drives fast.
Everything is 15mins in the car.
Buses run regularly but not always on time.
Great views in every direction.

This was the first time we had stayed in Nadur, The square is a lovely setting of nice restaurant's and bars. There is a very friendly atmosphere with the local people who really seem to enjoy life. We will definitely stay again. The Church is beautiful in architecture and calmness and really worth a visit. (believer or not).

Nadur is a very sleepy town - everywhere was closed by 10pm and we didn't really find a restaurant there. However, it is very close to the Gozo ferry, and nowhere on Gozo is more than about 20mins away, and as we had a car it was no problem for us to go further afield.

One of my favourite places both for hiking and swimming (San Blas Bay). From about May to September BBQ nights are offered as well at San Blas Bay. Newcomers need to note that the way down to San Blas Bay and back to Nadur is extremely steep, good shoes required (actually in summer a paid jeep service is usually offered to those finding it difficult).
The winter highlight in Nadur is its well-known Carnival (you will have fun till late at night - if you are not afraid of huge crowds and decibels!).
Nadur is renouned for the traditional Gozitan ftira (local version of pizza) as well. The best-known place for ordering one (take-away only) is the Maxokk bakery. There is also a (less crowded in high season AFAIK) competitor nearby, Mekren bakery. (Not having tasted the latter so far, I cannot offer an opinion on their quality in comparison.)
Those who like hiking can reach Nadur on foot from the ferry. As for public transport, there are more than one possibilities. Bus number 322 goes from the ferry to Marsalforn via Nadur, Ramla Bay and Ġgantija temple. There is the other connection to the capital, Rabat/Victoria, bus number 303, which goes down to San Blas Bay as well (not the last, steep, part obviously). But careful - in reality there are two lines, 303 and 303A, not both go all the way and unfortunately it is not clear at the stops and online which itineraries do pass by San Blas.

Nice small town in Gozo.
Nice small town in Gozo. Lively square with cafes and restaurants. Beautiful church, maritime museum (which we did not visit), and a lighthouse tower with a small garden.
10min drive from the ferry, and 10min drive to Victoria.
We like walking, so we went by foot to San blas bay and to Ta Mixta cave.

Nadur is close enough to the ferry port and has a good location for roundtrips around the coast and to the beaches, or to the sights in the inside of the island
It is small enough for a nice evening walk, the basilica is definitely worth a visit
