The location was perfect for a romantic getaway, secluded from the bustle of Valletta. The MDina is steeped in history and walking the paths that many have before was very atmospheric.
The Palazzo Bifora was a perfect getaway for a few nights adult time without children. The boutique hotel was immaculate with attention to detail at every point. Staff were wonderful, happy and helpful with ordering taxis and making recommendations on where to visit. The roof top bar and plunge pool were welcome areas to chill out and enjoy a late afternoon cocktail.
Our first time to Malta and certainly will be coming again. Staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary and birthday treat memorable.

Amazing roof top pool, nice Lavazza coffee, very kind receptionists and waiters, spacious rooms which were not loud at all having in mind the party neighborhood. Great restaurants and bars all around the hotel. You can book trips in the hotel as well which are reasonably priced.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Very close to the main entertainment area of Malta and the hotel itself is very quiet and not too crowded. The best of all is the proximity to the beach, and not too much crowd around the pools and around the sunbeds. That was the case during our visit, late September. On the other hand, the hotel itself does not offer any additional entertainment or activities, except for dinner in some of the restaurants in the complex. And if you don't organize your own evening by going out, you have absolutely nothing like entertainment in the hotel itself

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within the walls of the city for the nighttime experience. It became the silent city. not a lot to see, but what is there was interesting.
Rabat is literally a short walk across a pedestrian friendly bridge with lots of activity.
Certainly Mdina is worth a visit.
Very spacious and very well equipped property. Loved the uniqueness of the layout and in the height of summer the pool area was an excellent facility to be able to enjoy. It felt like we were living in a part of Mdina's history.
As a base for visiting Malta, Mdina is ideally placed, with taxis and local buses easy to pick up from the main gate.
Peter and his staff couldn't be more helpful throughout the duration of our stay.
Our stay was 8 nights for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. They ordered taxis, restaurants, arranged guided tours around Valletta and dropped us each day at the pool. The hotel was exceptional, with lots of history and was in the walled city of Mdina. It had everything you needed, including a Michelin Star restaurant with an amazing view and a pleasant bistro set in a courtyard.
The staff were so friendly, Anita was so helpful and kind, as was her lovely sister. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel was so well decorated and well furnished, such a gorgeous accommodation. Anita kindly set up our room with extra decorations, fruit and wine as it was our honeymoon. We were treated like royalty.
Fantastic location in the heart of Mdina. During the day it's buzzing with tourists but tends to be quiet in the evenings and at night.
The house is beautiful and large, and the beds are very comfortable. All was very clean and the bathrooms large and modern.
