Staff was really helpful. Accomodation itself was very pleasant and nice, kind of place you can imagine you could actually live there.

Great place to stay, appartment is right at the coast - very nice view of the bay and opposite coastal area from balcony, number of good restaurants within 10-min walk from here, great starting place for visting sightseeings (Valletta, Mdina Mnajdra, Dingli Cliffs, etc.) The appartment size is optimal for 6-7 people.
Dario (the host) is very communicative and always willing to help or give an advice!

This apartment exceeded our expectations, with a beautiful balcony looking across the harbour. The property is very spacious for a 1 bed apartment, very comfortable and very clean. The is vast array of restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance. This was our first visit to Malta and the location of the property was ideal for touring the island

Absolutely superb apartment in amazing location. Quiet and beautiful. View better than the picture. Few minutes walk along quiet street to main part of town. Town is beautiful. Easy to park our hire car in private underground car park. Very safe. Shop not on google, but located just around the corner behind the apartment (if you do a full walk round the perimeter block you will find it). Sells everything and fresh bread.
Best location for kids in whole of Malta we thought. Fantastic play park woth Nice restaurants all around the edge (no road). Amazing ice cream too! We had wine, olives, delicious real food while the kids played. We did this every night of our 4 day trip. Meant we could all relax after a day of sea play and sight seeing.
Marsaskala is so perfect for kids and families/family.
Thank you.

Good small town, well-located on south east of the island, plenty of nearby places to drive or walk.
Good local buses to Valletta, reliable, on time, regular and cheap.
Don’t drive into Valletta, too much traffic.
Lots of cafes, bars, eating places in Marsaskala, a well-equipped local supermarket that sold everything.
Tiny Mint restaurant highly recommended, across the harbour, walking distance.
Malta only small, so nowhere is too far to drive in a day.
We enjoyed it very much.

It is not a very big city but it has its fair share of (good) restaurants, locations to shop and buy some stuff as well as a lovely harbour to walk around during the evening. Public transport is amazingly well arranged and you can get almost everywhere without a car.

Marsaskala is a beautiful town which wraps around the harbour/bay, with a vibrant restaurant scene. You could easily eat a different cusine every day while staying for a week.
We hired a car but were very impressed with how abundant the public transport options were

Marsaskala is quite quiet.
Marsaskala is quite quiet. We were there in November and not all the restaurants were open though.
We went to Zion bar in St Thomas Bay a few times as it was nearer our apartment.
Easy to get the bus to Valletta from the bus station, so much easier than trying to drive there.
Only 20-25 minutes from the airport. Took about an hour to drive from Marsaskala to the ferry to Gozo, but 2 and a half on the way back as the Valletta bypass was a nightmare.

Marsaskala is a safe town but there are better locations on the island. It takes 35 min by bus 135 to get to and from the airport Luqa. Generally speaking Malta should be visited in October , November, March or April in my opinion. In July it is already a desert like - no grass, a few trees and very hot (over 32C) so the best way to rest is nearby a beach or on the boat. It takes 1 hour by bus to the city centre (Valletta). Sandy beaches are on the North(2h by bus) and green hills on the West-North part of Malta. St Julian's is for party animals.

Well-serviced, very clean and well-maintained facility. Staff very courteous and friendly in particular Mrs. IOLANDA at reception always with a smile, to whom we send a warm greeting. Excellent restaurant, with the best pizza in all Marsaskala. We will keep a very good memory of this holiday. The place is very quiet.Thank you for everything.
Everything was great. The host was really nice and helpful whenever we needed. The room was clean and new, exactly like in the pictures. Great location, close to the main bus station from Marsaskala, and close to the beach (St. Thomas Bay Sandy beach).
A hotel located close to the town center and the means of transport. The staff was very kind OK beds, and the cleaning was done on demand, which is a good thing for me.
A hotel I recommend if you want to stay in Marsaskala.
