the location of the hotel is excellent. Perfect if you are looking to stay where the nightlife is! The breakfast is also great - although there were options which were consistent in each of the 5 days we stayed, there were plenty of variations so you could still end up eating different things everyday. We used the rooftop pool (and did not get the chance to use the basement pool with sauna and gym) - the rooftop pool could get quite packed but we caught it at times when it did not have many guests. The rooftop had a nice view with a bar and more lounges and seating options. The hotel also provides towels exactly for pool usage - which is great! The receptionist was nice - she helped me find a private boat tour and printed my flight tickets - they also offered to take us to the airport with the hotel shuttle (for the same price you would have paid a cab). Housekeeping came all the time and they were also very nice. Arcadia and Wellbees are also very close as supermarket if you need to grab something. The balcony is small but it probably just serves as a place to dry your wet clothes. The interior and furnitures of the hotel is not very modern, but for the price-quality, i think it's still good value. You could probably find better-looking hotels but not for the price that Alexandra Hotel offers. I also appreciated that they have a storage room where we left our bags when we arrived to early for check-in - they also offer if your flight is a little later after check-out. They also sell a socket adaptor which they sell for 3 EUR in case you dont have a type G plug.
