The place was 50 m to a beautiful beach, 500m from a hike up Morne Larcher, and a five-minute drive from a delightful French village. Le Diamant is a great alternative to staying in the more touristy Les Trois Ilets, while remaining accessible to activities in the southern part of Martinique. Lodging in this area seemed to be a better value for money.

gorgeous view, clean room, nice hotel resort, apartment well equipped. Traffic around hotel really quite and supermarket around 2 minutes by car. I would recommend to rent the car in order to explore Martinique in convenient way.

Le Diamant is one of the most beautiful beaches from Martinique ( if not the most beautiful ). The waves are big and you constantly feel you are on an adventure when you have a swim. The view is just breathtaking, the rock of Le Diamant lies just in front of the beach while the palm trees and the little forest next to it makes you feel like you are in a dream.
There are nice local places where you can eat nearby and also there are cool hotels that offer pool & facilities for the tourists.

Quiet, small village. Long beautiful beach, though the surf could be a bit rough for some people. Some tourist shops, plenty of restaurants, a medium-sized supermarket. Poyo Rico (chicken burgers), next to the church, is a must.

Good place to have few peaceful days at the beach and drive...
Good place to have few peaceful days at the beach and drive (preferably with rented car) around Martinique. Nice location between Volcano trip (1,5hr drive), sea turtle beaches (<30 min) and some more crowded places like local distilleries of rum (<30min) or anse salines - the largest beach with beautiful views (40 min)
The hotel was tastefully decorated, the room clean and comfy with a nice view on diamond rock. There is a little kitchen hidden on the balcony which comes really handy.
The personel is super friendly and the outdoor area with the pool is really great to relax. In the evening there is jazz music playing in the hotel restaurant that we enjoyed while sitting on our balcony. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We stayed in a studio apartment located at Black Diamond, Pool & Beach, Restaurant & Bar, Le Diamant, Martinique.
The apartments have wonderful views of the bay.
There is a small supermarket about a mile away on the main road just before you turn off to Black Diamond.
The bed was large and comfortable.
The swimming pool was wonderful and it was a pleasure to go for a swim when we could.
The place is incredible… the view on the Diamant is fantastic and you can benefit from the facilities of the hotel attached to it (huge pool, restaurant, etc). Le Diamant is also a good, central location for the island.
