Most friendly welcoming by the host we have ever lived in Airbnb or Booking. The place is bigger than it looks on picture and have everything you might need. The bed is a delight: super comfy with a great view. The best night in our 3 weeks in Martinique.
Steve showed us the amazing garden from which we had the chance to taste very tasty fruits and herbs among which cacao or fresh coconut. I can go on for several lines but in short it is a very calm and pleasant place to stay where you experiment more than you can imagine.
Also, the access is really easy as it is 200m after the exit of the main road making it also very good place to stay to explore Martinique with a secured place to park the car inside.
Offering a garden and city view, STUDIO ROUGE GORGE TARTANE is set in La Trinité, 300 metres from Plage de la Breche and 700 metres from Plage de Tartane.

There's not very much to do in La Trinite- just an afternoon visit. If travelling make sure to hire a vehicle or book trips in advance so that you get to see more of the island. Note no tour operators (that we could find) would do pick ups from La Trinite

Exceptionally a beautiful seafront without a single restaurant! Several fast food kebab pizza joints, but no restaurants! Fortunately 'KJ pizzas' at the southern end of the seafront make good pizzas. Opposite there is a small park with benches where they can be eaten whilst admiring the view.
Nearby Presqu'ile de la Caravelle is more geared up for tourists; perhaps a little too much for some travelers!

Pleasant small town a few km from the main tourist areas and the better beaches so good for basic shopping but lacking in nicer restaurants and bars for the evening.
Would probably stay in the Presqu'ille de la Caravelle Nature reserve at Tartane or further into the reserve next time.

Nice, clean accommodation in the garden house (separate with 3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, 2 toilets and bathroom with washing machine) with adequately equipped kitchen (with ice maker!). Overlooking the bay from the terrace and with hummingbirds in the neighborhood. The best, however, were the owners (Pascal with his wife). Very friendly, willing to help and advise. Just great. The area is just great and very quiet. There are two swimming pools and security staff makes sure that you feel save around the clock. The premises were a hotel in the past and the rooms are now rented out private owners. We felt very comfy in this room and you could feel the love that the owner put into preparing the studio for our stay. We got water, coffee, bananas and even Netflix. We loved it so much that we stayed longer than planned. If you go to Tartane, this apartement is the place to go.
Very beautiful boutique hotel, extremely attentive and friendly staff.
Great location, close to two different beaches.
Picturesque road from the airport.
We spent little time in Martinique, but I fully enjoyed it thanks to French Coco.
