We had high expectations when we booked the Hotel Senigallia and happy all were exceeded. The location is marvellous!! We had the Deluxe Room (which is labelled A2) on the door. This is their largest room at the bottom of the bow at water level with a very comfortable king bed, sofa,chair, & coffee table with lots of room for our luggage. The A/C worked reliably, the plumbing and shower, and light systems were great. The breakfasts were as good as everyone says, altho’ most neglect to tell you that a wide variety of hot breakfast dishes are available just for asking the server. The dinners and lunches were as good as anywhere with a 10% discount for residents. The staff spoke English & were happy to chat. The crowning glory: there is even an elevator to whisk you up to the restaurants and streets. Speaking of streets: on Saturday night the land side of the boat was hopping with music and happy crowds, but in our room we opened the window on the river side and the sound of the water going past was effective white noise & lulled us to sleep. Safe underground parking is about a 5 minute easy walk away & you will get clear instructions how to get there prior to your arrival.

Small but lovely city. Life begins in the early hours and over at almost 8 o'clock. Still, you can find places for fun. On weekdays, bars are close at 00:00 o'clock. Alcohol is cheap, sometimes it is cheaper than soft drinks. :)

One of my favorite cities so I am going to be partial!
One of my favorite cities so I am going to be partial! I love the shopping centers, the Ploštad (Square) and the Old Town, the beautiful streets and parks where you can walk as much as you like. People are great, helpful, friendly. I love the restaurants lined up along the Vardar River. I also like that there are many places and benches where you can sit. One of my Macedonian friends says:" Skopje has a big minus - taxi drivers!" Most are professional, but they will hardly refrain from ripping off the foreigners! Just choose the right taxi company.

Skopje is a historical city, where mostly you can find old churches as attractions. People in Skopje are super nice, and most of them speak english. We have stayed there for 2 days, being our rest place in our way to Greece. We ate at Dominos the first night, and second night we went to the mall and tried Burger King. The food might not be their top ability, but hospitality definitely is.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by surprisingly lively life in the city center. The bazaar is very interesting and atmospheric. The new part of town is interesting. Unfortunately, the streets are quite littered.

Maybe one of the hidden gems of Europe. It's unlike any other destination. Just seeing the massive statues that they have is worth the trip. The food was great and the prices were more than acceptable.

Amazing amazing amazing, excellent service, excellent cleanliness, excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, an amazing large and clean room with a huge hot water shower, a large comfortable bed, excellent pillows, fast and stable internet, free parking, the spa center which includes an amazing pool and a huge jacuzzi, a sauna and a Turkish bath, everything Amazing and clean, we booked a massage, it was the best massage my wife and I experienced, the best hotel in Skopje, highly recommended.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city center. The apartment was great, very spacious and comfy. The best impression was made by the host Dejan, who was more than helpful. He assisted us with the parking space and allowed us a late check out at no extra cost. We highly recommend this apartment and we will certainly come back any time we are in Skopje.

The apartment was very clean and very cozy. Near the apartment you have few coffee shops and minimarkets and also lot of restaurants.
