Love the hotel.Everything about it is absolutely recommended. Very clean, very neat. Beautiful landscape beautiful swimming pools. They have two swimming pools, one with the bar and they played ground for the kids.The other one is more secluded and it's openly later, if you wanna get a little swimming. Good parking and clean environment. There is a car wash on site. If you're leaving the city and flying out, it's a great place to stay it's only 7min from skopje International Airport.

We liked the food and beverages the most. For breakfast at 7:00 AM, in addition to regular offer, they serve fresh pancakes, gibanitza (cheese pie), pizza, and brownie muffins, all freshly made, straight from the oven. They also offer complimentary glasses of wine for the first dinner. Wines are excellent, this is what Kamnik is famous for. The hotel is recently renovated and fully equipped. Those who do not like game trophies might not like the dining hall, but after all, this hotel is called "The Hunter's Lodge".

Staying in the main square is a must as it easier to walk around throughout the bazzar area and restaurants. Very safe and have lots of variety for cafes, and restaurants to choose from . Taxis are very easy to get and they all speak english as well which is a bonus . Ive been skopje many times before and i always love coming back . July and august are definitely to hot for skopje but i love the heat so im okay.

two days and one night was enough for me to show my friends around, but there is definitely more to be seen. We used one day to go to canyon Matka and the next day stroll around the city, we had a car so that made moving around the city easier, traffic is horrible tho.. Macedonia square, old bazaar, and the central park are three must see locations,.. if you like walking you can easily get to the city park from the square if you follow the Vardar river in the direction of which the galleon boats are facing. Close to the city park is Boemska ulica, good spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

There's not a great deal to see or do in Skopje - if you're interested in seeing the sites, you could probably do these in a busy day.
We spent 3 days in/around Skopje which was perfect - including a day trip to Lake Ohrid and another to Matka Canyon (both a must-do).
The fortress is much more impressive from the outside - only go if you want views of the city as there is nothing to see inside.

A most fantastic location for a city break. Restaurants are fantastic. lots to do and see, Well worth visiting and hire a car to travel outside the city to places like Matka canyon or get a bus up to Vodno for the cable car.
A small hotel located in the old part of Skopje (Charsija), a quiet and peaceful place 15 minutes walk to the business center of the city, but at the same time the historical center is right where the hotel is located. Restaurants, cafes, shops, souvenirs - everything is close by. To the railway station and bus station about 30 minutes on foot. Room was clean, wi-fi is good.
Great helpful and nice staff, I’ve really felt welcomed in this hotel! Great bed, location is good, it’s a nice stroll to Skopje city center. Free and safe parking is a godsend while driving around the Balkans and of course Leonardo Hotel has it! thanks for the great stay! hope to come back soon
