Located in the centre of the city, right by the lake. Has its own bar, but also it is close to other bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Rooms are spacious, with big beds, sitting area, tv and bathroom. Thematic room selection makes the stay more fun - this time we were at the Denzel Washington room, but last time we stayed at the Johnny Deep room which had a balcony overlooking the lake - gorgeous!

Although our arrival was duly announced and confirmed, no one welcomed us from the host's side except the cleaning ladies who we found who spoke neither Macedonian nor English. The pictures of the apartment are a complete deception. The entrance to the apartment is located on the busiest path in St. Naum, which leads to the Monastery of St. Several thousand people pass by in Naum every day, which means that there is no privacy. The walls in the room are covered with mold which makes the room smell damp. And the simplest request for another sheet was refused. The internet did not work and neither did the TV due to no internet connection. The beds are too hard and the extra bed has no mattress and was uncomfortable to sleep on. Although the reservation was made for 3 adults, the extra bed was a pull-out couch. The pillows were a disaster and the spare pillows were dirty and unwashed.

I was visiting in the off season so it was a little cold and all the leaves had fallen. I could easily see how wonderful this town would be in the summer. Beautiful homes well groomed everywhere. I visited because I had the opportunity but now I want to go back in the summer when Ohrid will be in its full bloom!

I only stayed for one night but managed to walk around and see some of the main attractions nearby. I took the sunset boat on the lake which was a great experience. If I had time I would have stayed another 2 days.

Ohrid is beautiful..we will come again..Sunset boat trip is a must...avoid the cocktails on the boat though..they weren't very nice. Food was lovely and cheap...the all night bakeries are amazing..note...the fortress is closed on a Monday so don't take a taxi up there like we did!!! Thexstaff at the bus station were very friendly and helpful unlike some of them in Skopje.

Trout soup for breakfast at the restaurant Kajche by St Sofia church, it is not on the menu as they only serve it in the morning.You have to ask for it and it is well worth the short wait. Delicious.
Ohrid old town is fabulous and very walkable though some streets may be a little steep for some people.
Holy Mary Perybleptos the church by the top gate of the old town has a superb collection of icons that are well displayed.
The Ohrid boardwalk route to St John of Kaneo that follows the edge of the lake is beautiful and a mainly walk

Part of the roman Via Egnatia this place has seen many wary footsteps and it is still captivating many to this day. A foundation ground for the eastern orthodox religion and its spread to the Balkans. You can also enjoy delicate food from around the region.

The location of the hotel is exceptional. Less than 5 minutes from the promenade/lake side. Spacious, exceptionally clean rooms. My room 304 had a pool, garden and lake view.
Ten minutes walk to Ohrid centre, a beautiful walk along the promenade. Perfect in my opinion, as close to the hustle and bustle but not right in the middle of it.
We were very happy with this one-night stay. Actually we would recommend only one-two nights in actual Ohrid, and before and after go to other places around the lake. The hotel was great: it is central and on the boardwalk but a few blocks away from the largest hordes of tourists. And a very comfortable hotel.
Everything about hotel is wonderful, situated in Lagadin by lake and there is private beach in front.Our room offered a stunning view Ohrid Lake,allowing us to witness breathtaking sunset right from our balcony. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful!

The hotel has just opened and is renewed, room is comfortable, the staff is kind and breakfast is good, so once they will be 100% operative, it will be perfect
