Nice and easy to find location, 2 minutes from the highway, close to the Vardar river. Nice gorge to see, with beautiful cliffs, famous winery, good restaurant next to the little town. We could have stay more, we just went there for a one night sleep on the way home.

Great location for a short stay, near beautiful wineries with rich history, the room was clean, the furniture was quite new, also the owner was friendly, chatty and available when we needed(called) her. The check-in went smoothly. The room was spacious for 2 people. Also, it had an A/C which was a lifesaver since it was a hot day.

A cozy hotel in a quiet location, close to the highway. While the exterior has a vintage Ex-Yugoslavian style, the room is renovated, and comfortable. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff were outstanding, showcasing the warmth of a family-run business. The included breakfast was very good, served on a lovely terrace with a great ambiance. A big plus for the overall atmosphere. A good choice for a stopover if you are going to Greece.

Demir Kapija is two minutes off the main E75 highway, but the place is so cute and quiet and feels as if you have been catapulted to a different planet. The nature is gorgeous with mountains and vineyards around, it has a lovely church that stands up on a hill - they call it "little Oplenac" as the same architect who designed the chrch at Oplenac in Serbia designed the one in Demir kapija.

The cleanliness was outstanding, the bed was super comfortable. The one thing we did not like was the baby crib. They give us a baby play cot which was broken and place three regular pillows as mattress which is very unsafe for baby. Of course we did not use it. Another suggestion is the music at the restaurant, they should play something more universal rather than Balkan music from the 2000s. They should. Besides that it was a good stay.

Loved being surround by world-class vineyards and access to...
Loved being surround by world-class vineyards and access to so many wonderful wineries within a 30-minute drive or less! There's a couple of Hotels in the area and I can only see this region become a Mecca for the wine lovers looking to slip away from city life and enjoy delicious meals and wonderful wines.
