Bitola is a lovely and lively city!
Bitola is a lovely and lively city! It has a handful of really interesting sites (esp. archaeological site is a must) and the atmosphere is beautiful. Shirok sokak (the main street) and the central park are a magnet to simply walk and watch people pass by.
There are some hills nearby if you want to have a great view or have nice walks around too.

We stopped here for a day on our road trip through Macedonia. We were very happy we did. It takes about half a day to see all the main attractions, however, having lunch or coffee or just a stroll through sirok sokak is highly recommended to catch the city vibe. it’s very different to either ohrid or skopje. a very manageable and interesting town.

A small city that offers everything a traveller would ask for. Culture, gastronomy, sights, walks. Museums, churches (St Dimitrios), mosques and the archeological site of Heraklea to visit, exhibitions (The small Monmarte of Bitola) and fesivals, great dishes to taste, a whole national park (Pelister) to walk in at a very near disance, great accomodation, nice shops,, reasonable prices, easy parking.

BEST Apartments was one of our best stays ever. The apartment was very clean. Very wel organised, we even could live in the apartment. The hosts are very kind and will do everything to make your stay as best as possible.
This was our best stay in Macedonia! If you stay at Bitola and want a clean room/bathroom, kind hosts, best bathroom, perfect airconditioning and balcony, than this is your stay. Don’t look further, book this stay and you won’t regret it (we booked 4 more days because we liked the apartment so much)!!
The best apartment we stayed at Macedonia. The building/neighborhood might seem a bit deceptive, but everything inside was great. Newly renovated, nice size rooms, comfortable beds, two balconies, and it had all the commodities you might need for a short stay. To top all that, the owner allowed us to stay some extra hours to be able to attend a work call. There is nothing else we could ask for. Just perfect!
The host Ice is a par excellence host. Kind and thoughtful. The place is just perfect, modern, and spacious. And it is right next to Sirok Sokak. I highly recommend this place.
