This is a beautiful boutique hotel, right at the heart of Old Kotor. The staff were, from the very beginning of the booking, really friendly and helpful.
It's not exactly easy to find, but the more you explore the town you realise it's actually quite hard to miss! It sounds odd but trust me, you'll see what I mean.
Our room was beautiful and looked over the little square. At night there was music from the bars next door but it didn't keep us awake. We knew to expect this from reading other reviews, so maybe take earplugs if you're sensitive to people enjoying a drink after 10pm.
Breakfast was lovely, everything you need to set you up for a good explore of the town and maybe a walk up to the fortress.
The free parking for the hotel was a great bonus. Just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
I would really recommend Hotel Monte Cristo and its terrific staff.

The staff was very helpful. Helped with luggage up the stairs. Tight car parking and staff assisted getting turned around and ready to depart.
Set within Lovćen National Park, Hotel Monte Rosa enjoys a quiet setting offering views of the surrounding mountains. It provides an on-site restaurant and a bar with a spacious terrace.

The hotel is approximately 5 miles from the Mausoleum and in the National Park, so is ideally located. However a lack of staff meant long waits for service in the restaurant and breakfast was poor. If you wanted a drinkable cup of coffee at breakfast, then it was an extra cost. Car parking is available.
Located in the core of the UNESCO-protected Kotor Old Town, Historic Boutique Hotel Cattaro offers uniquely decorated rooms in a renovated 18th century building.

Housed in a magnificent early 18th century Baroque palace that has been transformed into a charming boutique hotel, Palazzo Radomiri is directly on the coast with its own mooring facilities.

The breakfasts were excellent; the jetty and proximity to the sea for an early morning dip were simply wonderful. It was quiet, calm, friendly, relaxing and elegant. Lots of stairs (naturally - on the side of a hill down to the sea!) so for the more agile. A good walk to the Old Town of Kotor - so it is more relaxed/not run over by cruise passengers. Loads of lovely places (like the terrace or the hammock in the garden) to relax and read. The staff were all lovely and friendly and could not have been more helpful.
