Eko Katun Martinovica is located in a stunning location - grand views all around! The hosts are great. They're hospitable and take good care of you, whether it's suggesting hikes, serving you massive portions of delicious food, or chatting with you about the area. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable with blankets thick enough to keep you warm, even when you sleep with the window open. The facilities are clustered together and sound does travel, so you feel more like you're part of a community than isolated in the mountains. There are several great walks that start from the Katun and the scenery really can't be beat. I wish I'd been able to stay longer. The road is not one I was comfortable driving. I reached out about getting a ride but was told it's a macadam road and I should be fine. I did give it a shot, but I'm a skittish driver and then encountered a local on the road and he said he wouldn't recommend driving the road in my car, so I turned around, parked on the road, and walked up. It's a fine walk (I think it took about an hour). If you're also a skittish driver and don't want to walk, you might see about a ride. But however you get there, I really recommend going! The kind hosts and stunning nature are definitely worth it!

Sve je bilo odlicno, od komunikacije sa vlasnikom koji nam je pomogao da pronadjemo kolibu, posto smo stigli kasno nocu pa je nismo videli sa puta. Koliba je udobna i preslatka. Lokacija je idealna za ljude koji zele da odmore od grada, buke i guzve. Cist vazduh, zvuk ptica i prelep pogled. Takodje, oko kompleksa preko dana dolaze kravice da pasu koje su druzeljubive i nama upotpunile planinski dozivljaj. Zajednicka kuhinja je super opremljena. Its a good place to hike Komovi mountain. Overall the views and scenery is nice, it was a relaxing stay. We had a good company - dog from other house. He was very friendly, playful and photogenic.
