Very good location, close to train station, restaurants, tourist places. Very nice friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Got a nice view of the port from the room. If you keep your expectations limited to a 3 star, you will be happy.

We we were in a corner suite that was very spacious, ideal if you have kids or larger family. The view was incredible, beds were comfortable, the location was incredible. And overall stay was really great.

Location is far from the center. Very difficult to find taxis. Staff is not very helpful except the ones in breakfast room. Night managers of front desk should not work in hospitality business. This is the 2nd time i stay here and will be the last time. I moved to Fairmont , I stayed in Le meridian maybe more then 10 times. All are the same price hotels. IF you want a beach choose Le meridian, If you dont want a beach choose Fairmont..

Monte Carlo has made a world-famous name for itself in the worlds of sport and business, despite its small size. It is the largest district of the Principality of Monaco, covering a narrow strip of land at the foot of the Maritime Alps. For many, Monte Carlo is Monaco, and in reality it’s difficult to tell where one district ends and another begins.
What is clear is the wealth of its residents, which is no surprise given it’s a tax haven. Exclusive yachts line the marinas, and you’re almost as likely to see a Formula One driver leaving their house as you are to see them hurtling past during the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.
However, it’s the Monte Carlo Casino that it is the clear symbol of status. Its landscaped gardens add to a feeling of grandeur worthy of the European Poker Tour Final and the 2 James Bond films set here. Next door is the opulent Salle Garnier Opéra, built for ancestors of the present-day royal family, who reside in the Prince’s Palace by the historic Monaco-Ville district.
Whether you’re staying for the Monte Carlo Rally, an exhibition at Grimaldi Forum or simply to lounge on Larvotto beach, Booking.com has accommodation options ranging from cheap apartments to luxury hotels, some with helicopter transfers from Monaco Heliport.

Monte Carlo is amazing it’s quiet as it’s far enough away from the casino but still close. Bus facilities will bring you directly to the beach and casino. Palace is accessible by bus or walking up big hill. Great for solo travellers as it’s so safe. Loads of police around

Interior was great, views were great and it was clean hotel overall. Restaurant is overpriced, Hidden deposit fees which you encounter during check-in and no information about it is present anywhere on the website. Response time from service is terrible, Front-desk are not so friendly people. Garbage collected from rooms after room service were left in corridors for more than 12hrs. Worst Fairmont among all Fairmonts.

Beautiful city - gorgeous architecture and history imbued into the buildings and locations. Buses run throughout the city but the city in general is very walkable (lots of hills and stairs though in some places!). Lots of shopping if high-end and luxury goods are your thing.
The Oceanographic Museum and the car collection were highlights and a great activity to do for all ages. You can get a combined ticket deal for both.

If you are in reasonably good shape I recommend walking around Monte Carlo as it is much easier to stop take in the sights and take pictures. You also get a better feel of the city. The train is also convenient for getting to airport. Or visiting Cannes or Italy. Seems odd to use frugal and Monaco in the same sentence but if on a budget check out the local supermarkets instead of restaurants. They have fresh fruit, salad, bakery items as well as drinks and snacks. Bring it back to your hotel sit in your terrace with a bottle of wine and enjoy the view of the city.

It was very beautiful. I enjoyed the palace and the gardens.
It was very beautiful. I enjoyed the palace and the gardens. The city is very clean and appears to have pride in appearance. I felt very safe and there was a large presence of police everywhere.
I was there during the heatwave so didn’t see as much as I would have liked. Taxis were hard to find and the place has a lot of steps as it is all located on a hill. Some areas had lifts and escalators.
The train station looked like an airport and was very clean but there was no one to offer help with directions.

Monte Carlo is the playground for the rich.
Monte Carlo is the playground for the rich. It is a lovely vibrant city with lots to offer. Good local food in good quality restaurants with friendly staff. The casino and the square is something else to see and witness the comings and goings of the patrons. The walking tour of the Grand Prix circuit was excellent and a knowledgeable guide. Would recommend this and of course for the shopping experiences.
Carole on reception was really wonderful and a great asset ti the hotel - arranged taxis, made recommendations… Room was very furnished, modern and very comfortable with incredible views across the port. Rooftop bar had great service and was perfect for watching Monte Carlo go by. Perfect location for everything you need when visiting Monaco. Good wifi.
A very good location near the food and transport hub of the Place d'Armes. The hotel is clean and without frills, good for a short stay. There is no lift and if other guest are in the slightest noisy in the corridors or their rooms your rest will be interrupted. Our bathroom was small but adequate. One of the few affordable hotels in Monaco.
I loved everything in this hotel the management was excellent 👌 the best hotel I have ever stayed I'm my life worth the money. The view from room 305 omg..check out my room detailed tour on my YouTube channel @ Dee Mwango also it will help you explore monaco if it's your first time here. Excellent hotel can't ask for any better
The only real positive about the hotel is the pool. This is really lovely and staff servicing this area are great. However, if you’re looking to stay in Monaco, I would opt for other renowned hotels with better facilities and true 5 star service. This hotel does not treat it’s guests well when there are issues/complaints.
Very good location
Cozy apartment, big enough for us.
Confortable bed
Small kitchen, but fully equiped (including a Nespresso machine, but without caps)
Cheap, very cheap for Monaco (even with that extra fee)
Clean
We arrived earlier and we could let our bags inside
Nothing to complain
