Hôtel Restaurant Dar Al Madina is an absolute gem. It is one of those places where everyone is genuine and you don't have to worry about whether you are getting the best advice for your budget - every recommendation I received was perfect for my travel style. There is a full restaurant below the hotel and everything I had tried was amazing. The staff were just great people. My room was on the roof and perfect for a single traveller. Location is great for local walks, grabbing a taxi, and finally the bus out of the city. Mohamed runs a great dar, likely the best I visited in my 2 month trip, and I hope to visit again on my next journey through Morocco.

The stuff makes it work - without the people working here it would be a complete shame. And it was the best tajine we had in the whole of Morocco!

This place is wonderful! And it’s even better because of Mohamed the owner! Right from the second we pulled up on our Monkey Bikes, he greeted us, and went further, and treated my injured arm with a cleaning liquid and bandage! He was born to be a hotel owner! He is the best! And his hotel is perfect! I cannot recommend this location enough! If you are ever in Tinghir, do yourself a favor, and stay at Hotel La Vallee Des Kasbahs Chez Ilyas!

You really don't need to stop here and stay over... The todra gorge is beautiful to see, but you could drive up to it and out again.
I recommend stopping at Family el Mabrouk restaurant on your way into the gorge for a truly authentic experience. They are so full of energy. They'll dress you up in traditional wear and take photo's for you. They even took me with to the Souk in town. Highly recommend.

I went through the local market and the downtown area, it's nothing out of the ordinary, it's typical Moroccan, I like the crowd there, it's a commotion that moves and keeps the city alive during the day, but at night it's quiet, I didn't see much because I was welding a small part of the time. Good food .

Among the palm groves we visited during our two week road trip the one in Tinerhir was the greenest, with people working in the fields. What is also nice that the Gorges are close. However you should go for a 4h walk.

Tinerhir is very authentic, with beautiful landscapes of the kasbah and the palmeraie. Nice panorama's and the Todra gorge is closeby. We arrived by bus and had lunch at the mosque square. The lunch was also very good. The had dinner at the Guesthouse and it was our best, prepared and served with dedication.

To be clear, we stayed outside of Tinerhir closer to the gorge. But, the area has extraordinary beauty and it was well worth the long drive from Marrakesh. We were there for only 24 hours and could have stayed a couple of more days for hiking and just soaking in the landscape.

New built property with fabulous Mountain View’s and in an excellent location for access to the Todra Gorge. The hotel owner & staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The service we received was fantastic, and nothing we asked was too much trouble. The rooms are large and comfortable with air-conditioning. The hotel upon our request had also arranged a guide who was very knowledgeable about the area for our walk in the gorges.
True to its name, the Monkey Fingers sports a spectacular view of, well, the Monkey Fingers!
Tucked away in the neighborhood and off the main road (look for the small, white signs, which seem to pop up the moment you’re most in doubt), it’s quiet and even has secure parking out front, if you’re traveling by motorcycle.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the shower, room and views from the back balcony were all great!
I liked that the staff were very friendly. Assisted with all our needs.
Very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. Hisham was amazing, looked after us, welcoming, made us feel at home.
The view from the hotel is very scenic. The rooftop has a traditional floor set up. Very relaxing.
The chef was amazing, she made delicious food. Eating with a lovely view.
I will definitely be coming again.
I would like to thank the whole stuff for their hospitality they are helpful and funny. The dinner and the breakfast is amazing.
The hotel location is unbelievable with a panoramic view. I strongly recommend this hotel for those who want to spend an amazing experience in this town.
