Salah collected us from Agadir and was very helpful and gave plenty of information. A really informative guide. He organized a driver over the mountains to Marrakech who was really wonderful. a tricky special day driving but a little scary. the breakfast was 👌

Lovely welcoming riad in the heart of the medina. A little oasis of peace amongst the bustle of Taroudant. We loved all the winding staircases and hidden sun terraces.

We stayed for 3 nights, mainly to relax, there isn't a huge amount to do so you can do 1 night and a day to explore the walls. If you have a nice riad and are happy to relax in the sun, this is also a good spot to do so. Although there isn't a huge variety in places to eat lunch. Try to find small local family-run spots away from the main square. We didn't do the hourse cart ride round the walls but that's a popular thing to do.

excellent except for the street traffic with every form of vehicle weaving in and out of pedestrians. However - I can't see anyway of preventing it. I think it's a worldwide city problem with the quick e-scoters, mopeds etc.

It is a very traditional city/ town not very big
The walls are the most striking part of the city
Within the walls the building are 19/20 century
Nothing very interesting to see
It’s a relatively poor and modest place
People are very friendly and no overt poverty but a simple lifestyle .
Although not necessarily for women to wear a head scarf we felt it was respectful to the culture and was appreciated

The bustling sights and woody smells of Taroudant will stay with you forever. With an apparent 45000 residents within the historic walls you will be enchanted by the hustle and bustle of this memorable 'city'. Great souks without a corporate supermarket in sight you will find everything you need with delights around every twisting turn as you navigate inside the expansive walls. Take a caleche ride or two during the day and/or evening and you will experience a informative commentary from your host. This is a very busy town especially at night but the numerous accommodations will give you a restful respite especially if you choose one with a swimming pool. Lots of welcoming Moroccans who are happy to say "Bonjour" or "Salam" as you go about your daily walks. Less than two hours by road from Agadir this is a trip or holiday worth taking without a doubt.

Taroudant is a small city full of life.
Taroudant is a small city full of life.
There is central place were everyone gather, including the few tourists, to eat and be together.
We really enjoyed the sook of course, were we could find nice marocain kraft and sweets for a reasonable price (vs expensive Marrakech:)
Next time I would stay inside the kasbah to be closer to the central square.

What you feel about Taroudant will depend on what you expected. We’ve been on the road three weeks so it, to us, was a small and relaxed souk. Similar to Rabat in many ways you won’t get too much hassle.

An incredible place, so many near Taroudant it’s difficult to decide but we weren’t disappointed! The room is quiet and tucked away in your own area of the garden with a terrace, comfy beds and en-suite. The pool is divine and the team there were just fantastic- welcoming and helpful, providing the most fantastic food. We regretted not getting a massage!
Nice and comfortable apartment, with a cosy Moroccon interior. You have to contact the host in advance and he will pick you up at the meeting point (which was an old closed hotel in our case) to take you to the apartment. No streetparking available, so you have to park somewhere else. Host only speaks French, no English. Highly recommendable.
Very authentic Riad, in a nice town in Morocco. Outside space was really pretty, and our room was big, with a great balcony outside the front. Staff made us breakfast early, even though it was before breakfast time, as we were getting on the bikes early.
