We were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality - our 3 nights at Dar Afra were a highlight of our stay in Morocco. This is a traditional-style house in a stunning location, and Abdullah and Abdul went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food was delicious (and plentiful!). Abdullah made sure we had everything we needed and arranged our onward travel. Abdul took us out for really enjoyable and interesting day walks (with his family donkey).

Anne and Ali were great hosts!
Ali went above and beyond by giving us (for free) a spare part for our car which we had lost on the way. (Thank you again so much!!)
The decoration and the rooms are very beautiful and well thought-through. Beds are comfortable. Anne gave us a warn welcome with food and juices handmade with ingredients from the garden.
Anne also shared with us the various projects they work on for the local community, so staying at Alliance Berbere also supports a great cause.
Overall a very authentic experience, we highly recommend staying here.

Remote location with a beautiful view over the village and the valley.
Great host providing delicious Tajine diner and friendly talk.
Room is spacious, very comfortable big bed in a quite simple room. It is not a negative opinion just the fact.
The guesthouse is big and roomy, and at that time we were the only guests.
Total silence during the night and it is hilarious that the rooster only dares to crow after the Muezzin wakes the Walley up.
The very nice Berber host awaited us, escorted to the house and offered us a delicious Mint tea (20 drh) on the roof terrasse upon arrival and was always helpful and very kind with us.
