We stayed for a little over 2 days and in the limited time we tried to visit and explore the city as much as we could.
Tangier is nice to hang around for shopping, eating and taking long walks by Tanja Marina Bay. There are many good day trips and we took a day trip to Chefchaouen and Akachour Waterfalls which was good.
The hop-on hop-off was very convenient to get a panoramic view of the city. We stayed 2 nights and had long strolls along the Tanja Marina Bay and had some good Tajine and sandwiches.
Staying at least another 2 days would have helped.

We had an amzing time in the city, the people were very friendly and helpful. We did a wonderful 6 hr tour of the city and surrounding area that I would highly recommend. When paying for dinner I was short MAD and the server told me to just bring it back the next day, until I realized they also accepted Euros. We would love to go back!

I could have stayed another night and explored a bit more of the city (especially the museums). Tangier is a much better city than I would have imagined. It is very clean and modern and the people are very friendly.

The worst city on Morocco.
The worst city on Morocco. After spending two delightful weeks in Morocco my last stop was Tangier. Very unfortunate. Unlike Rabat, Marakech, Meknes or even Casablanca, the people I encountered in Tangier were rude and unhelpful. The city has no charm, no character, no beauty and no happy vibe, It feels like a drab city with mass of humanity mechanically dragging through the life with little joy or purpose.

The Riad is located in the heart of the Medina, just a few meters from the lovely Petit Socco, the seaside and the Grand Socco, the main square to arrive for Tangier Old Town. The hosts are the loveliest people I have met on my entire trip to Morocco - always reachable, always helpful and so motivated to make your stay as good as possible. The place is safe and unbelievably quiet - a miracle in this area. The rooms are spacious and clean, bath room in top condition. I can't imagine a better place for such a small rate.
All the staff members were so amazing and accomodating, they helped us to find tours and sight seeing spots as well as reccomending places to eat. The breakfast was lovley with such a perfect view in the morning, the best way to start a relaxing day in tangier. I couldnt commend the team more! The riad was situated close to the main road so easy to get in and out of the medina! Only a 15 min walk to the beach and port and most of the medina and kasbah is easily reachable by foot
Breakfast was great with traditional Moroccan products!!! Hotel’s location was superb, near the beach, situated in Tangier’s Medina surrounded by shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. It was absolutely great value for money and I strongly recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in Tangier’s Medina and feel the local atmosphere.
When I arrived we were welcomed with a smile and kindness. The staff are very friendly and professional. Delicious breakfasts. Wednesday night Cous Cous, a real taste of Morocco. The feeling was being in a home not a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.
Great location with a view on the harbour and right next to the Medina. Be sure to try the restaurant because the food is simply excellent. Best filet steak in Morocco!
