Lovely lobby and view from breakfast room. It was very short walk to restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Note that WiFi in lobby is different from WiFi in your room so get that information before going up to your room. The room is small but very clean and comfortable bed.

Nice to be in a less touristy city. Markets were definitely for locals as well as tourists. Great street food, good cafes along the waterfront, cakes and coffee/juice in the evening along with everyone else.

Rabat is a clean and safe city. Very easy to move around using taxis, ride share, or public transit systems. There are a lot of historical sites to visit. The people of Rabat are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the Kasbah, the old city with its garden and museums, the madina market, etc., Just to name a few.

Preferred Rabat over Marrakesh which we visited first. Get to avoid the hordes of motorized scooters that foul the air with 2-cycle exhaust that is the bane of Marrakesh. Medina is lovely and safe, good sites and sights to see. Good food and prices were 1/2 vs those in Marrakesh.

Rabat is a peaceful city that has various areas to offer for different needs. It has the historical sites for tourists, the markets for the hustle and bustle of the shops and authentic Moroccan goods. It offers many restaurants for traditional Moroccan tagine and other food options as well as modern Mediterranean cuisines that are foreign to Morocco.
The city has a tram lines which you can book single way for 6Dirhams and also local taxis have meters which you can use to go anywhere you want in the city.
You can also walk in the old madina for spectacular shots of the Moroccan heritage and way of life.
Finally, a beach where you can head to check out the views and walk by the marina which was very calm and peaceful for anyone.
I recommend 3 days for the city, it's a must see for sure.

This hotel has the perfect location in Rabat. Close to the railway station. I got upgraded to the suite my first night here. Ismail in the reception is doing everything for the guests as did everyone else too. I enjoyed my stay and after moving around in Morocco for more than a week I returned to this hotel for a last night before an early flight the next morning. Airport transfer was perfect to use as a solo female traveller.

we paid 60MAD for 2x big baskets of laundry wash, dry and

The Riad is gorgeous, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in Morocco. The location is on a nice open street of the Medina and a short walk to the sea and other major tourist locations. It was about a 15 minute walk from the Rabat Ville train station which was incredibly convenient.
I was arriving easily. Without difficulties finding the location. And I was received warmly by the host with a lovely cup of tea. The breakfast was great,and the host really friendly. I will gladly come back in my next trip to Morocco. For sure is a great place to stay if you’re in Rabat.
