We had a fantastic 2 night stay in Kasbah Chems. The property has beautiful views across the valley and village and we loved that it was an authentic Kasbah experience. The highlight for us was the 15km walk through Gorge A’Gouti. We highly recommend doing it! Our guide and host, Mr Strawberry, was fantastic. He taught us a lot about Berber culture and the local villages and the landscape was beautiful. It was a highlight of our trip! Good luck with everything Mr Strawberry!
A little slice of paradise a few kilometres out from the town centre of Kalaat MGouna (The valley of the Roses) which is easily accessible using public transport.
A tranquil oasis with stunning views of the surrounding area. Plenty of terraces to get away from the bustle of modern life and soak in the picturesque beauty.
The accommodation is fantastic, Brigitte and the staff feel more like a family. The food was traditional Moroccan, each meal was exceptional. This is one place we will return to again.
The hotel courtyard was filled with rosebuds and smelled beautiful. Our room had a beautiful view over the valley and the red mountains. We had a delightful day with our excellent guide Mustafa from Kasbah Chems, walking through the Valley of Roses, and then later crossing the plateau over to the Dades Gorge.

You stay like local people in Mud house called Kasbah. Very well maintained and nice food and great people. The family is running the hotel, so they are very kind and very helpful.
