The Palais Claudio Bravo is simply the most sumptious, beautiful hotel I believe we've ever stayed in. We fell in love immediately, and I was back in reception, booking a second night within half an hour of arriving. The staff are wonderful, and although at times my poor french (and non-existent Arabic) made it difficult for them, they somehow made sense of our every need. The artwork and artefacts of Claudio Bravo fill every room and wall, and the gardens are heavenly. The view from the pavilion across the lake that reflects the high Atlas mountains in the background is magical. If you're in Morocco, then a stay at the Palais Claudio Bravo is a once in a life time experience. But don't tell everybody....

The location just outside Taroudant, the peaceful setting (although close to the main road), the lovely garden (the swimming pool would have been nice in a warmer season) and a comfortable room with outdoor sitting area looking onto the garden. It has a good restaurant.

The rooms were ok but the heater is pretty much useless. The breakfast was below average.
