Casablanca is a beautiful destination for solo, business or family trip. There are several historic sites of interest. I saw a lot of visitors who came through cruise ships. The roads are well mapped out and free most times of the day. There are varieties of restaurants to dine in and take away. We visited an African restaurant and ate sumptuous egusi soup.

Too much over-rated. It's a tourist trap.
Too much over-rated. It's a tourist trap. The city is kinda miserable, with a lot of "favela" like areas. Movie Casablanca was not even filmed in Casablanca but at Hollywood, and Rick's Cafe is an over-rated, ultra expensive replica that does not even resemble the actual cafe in the movie. Expensive and the beaches are not worth it.

The city has interesting art deco buildings and great location on the atlantic seaboard. Food and taxi is very affordable. But I'm not really shure I would have a lot to do for several days alone... Maybe should pair the trip with friends and enjoy water activities or some kind of hike? Actually the taxi drivers deserve an honourable mentioning because they were actually very honest. Be careful if you enter the old fish market. It's fun to watch - but do not get trapped and eat lunch or dinner there! It's a scam. The seafood stalls might be legit - I actually don't know... The big mosque is great from the outside - but it's a bit booring on the inside and the tour was really not that great.

The style and decor of the hotel was authentic Moroccan which had a great feel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, it appeared to have double glazing on the windows to cut down the outside noise, and the wifi worked on most floors. It was quite central to most sites, transport, supermarkets and dining. It was the best accommodation I stayed at in Morocco and it was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this hotel.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and beds, AC was working but couldn't adjust temperature (only warm/cool), ok location near old town and plenty of restaurants nearby. Had the chance to book a double room for 29€/night which is awesome price for this hotel.
7 min walk from a Carrefour with alcohol, which is good as finding alcohol shops in Morocco is an issue 🍺 (Carrefour Express Casa Av. Hassan Seghir)
