The brothers who own Kasbah Ait Arbi went out of their way to make our stay special. They served us a great breakfast everyday. We can pick between the outdoor terrace overlooking the Monkey's Fingers or the cozy indoor space. We picked this place because it's right by the trailhead to Monkey's Fingers slot canyon. They can provide a guide for the hike but they never pressured us to use their service. We prefer exploring on our own and they drew us a map of the area and explained how to get around. We visited in the winter and they provided portable heaters to make sure we're comfortable. In addition, they could do laundry for a small fee. The owner's wife has a small convenience store nearby for snacks and water.

The property has been artistically decorated. It’s on the high end of the village, quiet and good view. The owner and the staff were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was tasty and different to the normal - the berber omlette was fantastic! We had two vegetarians and two vegans in our party and the kitchen asked for advice and produced really tasty food.
The pool was disgusting and green. The place was in construction and looked really bad. The seats outside on the terasse were dirty, the staff didnt bother wiping the dirt off. Airconditioning in the room was broken, a bird layed its nest in it. For breakfast we got some fake orange juice that tasted like medicine. Apart from this the only person who worked there was helpful and nice. It’s within walking distance of the «monkey fingers». For 20-30€ more you get a way better hotel 6km up the road. Worth it if you want a clean pool and AC in your room. Would not recommend.
