Villa du Souss is on the outskirts of Agadir, so it is perfect for anyone with a car. The villa itself is tucked away off of the main road, and there is a 24 hours manned gate at the entrance to let you in at any hour. The rooms are lovely, and the villa has many open rooms for common space. The hosts we met, Miki and Khaoudr, where kind and helpful for us, offering really great suggestions for things to do and places to see, and also helping us make arrangements for dinners and laundry. This is a great location from which to drive south, for example to Souss-Massa National Park, or to to head inland, for example to Taroudant. We did both, and it was lovely and relaxing at the end of long days to pull into Villa du Souss. it is also possible to drive into Agadir for the evening, but it will take 35 to 45 minutes to get to the port or Founty neighborhood.
The breakfasts were excellent. We also arranged to have dinner at Villa du Souss one evening, and it was one of the best tajines I had in Morocco (it was the beef with prunes and almonds tajine).
