The property is located near Mazirbe. From the terrace and balcony, there is a stunning view, which is to be expected as the house is located in the territory of Slītere National Park. A nice touch - hosts offer a complimentary souvenir that will point you to your next trip (we got Colombia and the USA). The children appreciated the literature available on the property. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. There is a barbecue on the terrace. Although the house is relatively close to the hosts, it is set up to ensure privacy. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The other nice thing is that you can bring your pets. This is a place to return to.

Kolka is a very sleepy small village, were the only thing to see is the spectacular and scenic Cape Kolka, were the Baltic Sea and the Bay of Riga meet. Well there is a Livonian Community House, but we missed it.
It stunning nature is enough for you, Kolka is worth a visit. But if you look for nightlife or action, forget it.

We stayed at Kolka for one night during our roadtrip. We found this holiday house very lovely and we really enjoyed our stay there. The kitchen was very well equipedd. The water is not drinkable, our host told us that and provide the barrel with drinking water in the kitchen. Parking was for free in the yard.
Just fab watching both sunset and sunrise from the same cosy pod. A really special place with great attention to detail in the pods. Good cafe on site for an early supper and then a perfect chill on the beach and in the pod. Really really recommend this place as kolka is beautiful.
The parking was free and I got my own WiFi router in the room, since it was not working upstairs. The owner was very kind. The store to buy food was next door but also dinner at restaurant was possible.
Driving to the Cape of Kolka takes just 5 min. It’s an amazing place to see.
Walking distance to Cape Kolka and the owner went out of the way to set out toys and sports equipment for the kids, as well as put out some special easter decor and stuffies for the kids. Place was quiet clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen.
