The hotel is small, quaint and perfectly located in the old town. Right on the pedestrian street. The hotel has parking and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and interestingly decorated. Breakfast was ok but could be improved.

For the price, the Leo was convenient, with easy parking, and convenient for access to Daugavapils centre. The rooms were plain and simple but sufficient. In the bathroom was a small fridge, so you could keep snack and water cool. No breakfast is offered, there is no restaurant.

It's a Russian speaking environment and a splendid place to go to learn Russian. If you reach out there are plenty of friendly people there. It could do with a day tripper public transport travel card. But trips are only €1. Also there's no fully labelled transport map with route numbers on it. Very glad I went there.

Daugavpils is struggling economically, but has a charming and mostly well-maintained 19th century center, a fascinating multicultural character, and lovely green open spaces, including forests and a lakeshore resort area on Lake Stropu. The Mark Rothko Arts Center is a major modern art museum, and well worth a visit. Not a conventional tourist destination, and short on good hotels and restaurants, but a fascinating slice of Eastern European life and history.

A hidden gem of Latvia that is worth the visit for tourism and business alike.
There are quite many nice restaurants and bars on both side of the river while majority are located on one bank of the river but it's still worth the walk/drive to the other side.
There are many hidden attractions for tourists and local authority web page with multi language support is a great portal to rely on.
Also Daugavpils can serve as a base camp for visiting Aglona and Rezekne and the South-Eastern part of Latvia.

Great travel destination for tourism and business alike.
Great travel destination for tourism and business alike. Worth a detour to visit one of a kind military Fortress just a short stroll from the city centre with lots to see and many museums to visit and food to sample.
Great eating places at the river beach just across the bridge from the city centre and another great selection in the centre at the walking street.
Fortress is not the only great military tourism destination as you should also check out the Daugavpils Shot Factory.

Daugavpils is not a huge city, but for 1 or 2 days it surely...
Daugavpils is not a huge city, but for 1 or 2 days it surely has its charme. The city centre's architecture is quite picturesque, and don't miss out on the churches and the synagogue. (It is worth sending an e-mail and asking for a visit, even though the guide's English is a bit rusty. Nevertheless a very positive experience.) Also, you must visit the old fortress (take tram no. 3).

You have to see the geographic map of Daugavpils to understand its traditional significance as a city that connects four major cities in the region - the city has everything you need - and all in few minutes walking from each other - and if you compare the prices with that of RIGA - well minus 40% easily.. You will enjoy this place

I want to thank you the staff because they helped me with everything. I had a little back trauma and the staff promptly did their own best for my issues. I’ll never stop to thank them. Even the restaurant in the same building is very good and at reasonable prices! Hotel itself is super modern with a really nice kitchen and good coffee machine! All the best for ideal relax! Thank you, staff!!!
Great hotel location for business or pleasure in Daugavpils. Rooms are nice and with Cousy interior. At Summertime They have a tent next to the hotel that serves as a great terrace and Summer extension to the hotel. Simple breakfast is included in the hotel price.
If there are not enough parking spaces behind the hotel there is free street parking in front of the hotel with CCTV watch.
