Very lovely grounds and nice staff. The breakfast was very good as was the dinner.
There were only two other people in the hotel the night we were there so it was quiet.

The value of the place are owners who are always ready to help & improve the place if you have any suggestions. The house is located near owners house, but there is plenty of privacy. Since the house was living house for owners daughter before it has everything, cuttle ware, stove, oven, fridge, indoors& outdoors shower, terrace with seating & laying area, cold pond to jump in after sauna. Upstairs is a simple rooftop room with double bed & sofa.
Downstairs small kitchen, sauna, bathroom with shower that is connected to sauna. The wood for sauna is provided by the owners, included in the price same as sauna.
On the property there are 2 cats that might visit you. One of them was very friendly and let to cuddle.

It was quiet location further from the town, no traffic. As we are a family of four, we took both rooms, so all common areas such as kitchen, dining arrea, bathroom was ours. The owner waited for us till quite late even if we informed that will arrive late. Informed us personally about the water which was provided for us for drinking in the bottles. A nice gesture from the host was to put our drying laundry under the terrace roof when we went away as it started raining.

All was great. Receptionist girl was welcoming, described everything about the hotel. Room was clean, bathroom as well. Bed was comfortable, and we had a fridge in the room, that was nice. Breakfast was good well.
Very delightful, relaxing elegant and enjoyable. Food is very delicious and presented like a five star restaurant. Sorroundings are very pretty and full of nature, walking paths and benches throughout. Since there is no air conditioning, avoid warm days. It will be hot and uncomfortable on summer days.

Our stay at Birini Pils was absolutely perfect.
Our stay at Birini Pils was absolutely perfect. We were two families of four, with children ages 4, 8, 9, and 12. Everyone really enjoyed it! Very relaxing to explore the grounds, swim in the lake, rent the paddle boat, eat homemade ice cream at the cafe, and our dinner at the castle was incredible. Everything perfect! The only thing to note is that you should let them know if you have any mobility issues as there can be quite a few stairs, depending on where your room is (I'm not sure if there is an elevator). It can also get hot during the summer and because the castle is old, there is no A/C but fans are provided.

Just a one night stay. Birini is a small village. If you are looking for nightclubs, you are looking wrong direction. If you like old castles and walking in the forest in your own thoughts, you are in a right place. A place to rest (especially if you leave your mobile devices in a car trunk or between two stones).
