Locked in at night, can't leave early. You get out when the owner bothers to get up. No fire exit either !!!!
Requested early breakfast but staff never turned up so went to local bakery which is lovely.
Hotel Bleech is clean but basic, food bathrooms and comfortable beds. Rooms are above the bar and restaurant so it's only quiet when people go home. That was 1am for us and we were up at 6.30am.
Went the the restaurant in the evening for dinner . Was quite busy. After 20 minutes we had to go in and ask for service to order. After 10 minutes still no one had come to our table. They speak Spanish, French and German but no English. We gave up and went to the pizza Kebab shop opposite which was lovely. The 2 German ladies next to us had been waiting over an hour to order. They went elsewhere also.
No parking so you have to park your motorbike o the main road. Not really a drama as Larochette is lovely and safe.
The lown itself is stunning, surrounded by hilly forests and has an amazing castle that is a 30 minute walk up hill but we'll worth the visit. There is a shortcut back down. And around the base of the castle. Just follow the blue flag signs to the left of the entrance. Overall Larochette is well worth a visit but please avoid this fire trap hotel.

We booked a dorm room and we got a small bungalow just for us two! Staff is very friendly, everthing was clean. Good location, 10 minute walk from the main square and there’s a supermarket around the corner. Breakfast is simple but good; cereal, (soy) milk, bread, cheese, meats and chocolate paste. Nothing fancy but very good value for money!

The tent was cosy and equppied with soft quilts and pillows that kept us warm. There were also utensils we didn't expect to find and we definitely appreciated the welcome prosecco and juice. The sanitary buildings and the general areas are well kept. Reception is open till 8pm, the staff is very helpful. There is a small convenience store within the reception and you can order fresh bread and pastries for the following day. Definitely a good place to stay when climbing at Wanterbaach!

I stayed here with my friend. As we were walking the Mullerthal trail, this hotel was located perfectly at the trail. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Limited vegetarian options at the restaurant but the options they had were tasteful. Rooms are a bit outdated but clean.
Mobile home was very comfortable, more spacious than expected. Porch big plus! Great camping site next to the lovely town of Larochette, a great base camp to explore the Mullerthal Trail (located next to route 3 and ExtraTour A). Camp site provides all basic amenities (small supermarket, restaurant/pizzaria, swimming pool), some restaurants/cafes, a larger supermarket, bakery can be found in the village.
I was a bit anxious to book this hotel - there were some really bad reviews. But we had a great stay. Friendly staff, huge room (somewhat dated - but spotlessly clean - interior), huge bathroom, great shower. The hotel is right in the middle of Larochette, close to all kinds of restaurants and you can also eat in the hotel itself. The pizza was wonderful!
The staff were very friendly. They run the hotel and the restaurant and as with many places post-Corona; short-handed. Restaurant was good, we enjoyed the food and the outside terrace. City is convenient overnight stop for hiking in the area. On weekends parking is free on the street in front of the hotel.
Location is excellent. Multiple option for food. Even the hotel has their own restaurant. Bus stops is pretty close. Breakfast was usual nothing special. Cordial and helpful staffs. Value for money.
I had one small room only for me. Before Youth Hotel Larochette, I slept in Luxemburg hostel, with 5 people in one room. I am too old for those attractions :-) I recomend this hostel.
