Newly built 10 room hotel just outside of Negombo. Rooms very clean and well appointed . Staff very helpful and polite. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere overall. Great restaurant with good menu choices including freshly made pizza cooked in a traditional pizza oven large portions good value for money. Fabulous breakfast included in cost of room.
There is a very clean large swimming pool in the grounds surrounded by trees so offering some shady areas while swimming. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the lane and the lagoon backs onto the property so you can experience a lagoon boat ride
Great place to stay for some peace and quiet with Negombo city 15minutes car drive away would highly recommend and would stay there again

Tranquil location, perfect for a few days relaxing. Evening buffet was delicious. We stayed at beginning of rainy season & the staff were so thoughtful, even bringing gumboots to our room so our feet wouldn’t get wet walking to the restaurant area for breakfast.

The Manager of the hotel and his staff (including 3 dogs and a cat) are above any praise. If you seek for a well organized place to rest without problems do come to Puetz Travels Beach Resort. Mr. Marcus will make your trip a real holyday. Even wild crocodiles that live in the nearby river dream to move to the magic canals of Puetz Travels Beach Resort. I wish i were among the lucky ones.

Just a lovely resort, just along the river and on very green grounds! The staff were super friendly and helpful and kindly gave us an upgrade and the chalets were simply gorgeous and had very fancy toilets. We rented brand new bicycles from the hotel and cycled out to the little fishing villages of the surrounding beaches and out to see the tile factories. The resort offers different treatments and yoga sessions.
I last visited in 2016. The hotel has been acquired by new owners and we were pleasantly surprised with how they have tried to keep up the unique atmosphere the hotel provides. Brilliant place to start or end your time in Sri Lanka as so close to the airport. Excellent scenery and tranquil surroundings. Very pleasant staff and delicious food.
We used this hotel as a one night stop off when we arrived before travelling around Sri Lanka. The location is remote, but that didn't bother us as we only stayed at the hotel.
The pool was big and clean, whilst the room was really comfy.
Spacious bungalows, very nice swimming pool and seatings, big garden, 10m from the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Good start or ending of your trip in Sri Lanka.
The Hotel itself was great with some things to do..we enjoyed the pool, the beach and got a Ayurveda massage.. the staff was very friendly and intentive..
