It was unbelievably clean and the view from our room (no:9) was spectacular. This is a gem of a place. Staff are extremely friendly & courteous. Nothing was too difficult for them. Hats off to the owner who has ensured that everything is done properly & maintained Impeccably well.

The location was excellent, stunning. Although the beach walks were amazing it’s far too rough for anyone to swim in, too many rips and huge waves. Breakfast was lovely and fresh we really loved the fresh fruit too. Loads of flexibility and the staff very willing to accommodate all requirements.

Very pretty and well located Location, the breakfast was amazing and the staff very kind too. They organized a safari tour with a transport to ella in less than 10 minutes, which was very great and good organized. Whole Tangalle felt just like a ghost town in august, because there wasn‘t even 10 tourists. The room was also very clean and comfortable. They also had a little puppy, which was also cute. Just the english could be a little better of the staff, but it‘s totally fine, not a big problem.

Huge spacious rooms with heaps of storage including a safe. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Lovely big clean and fresh bathroom/shower. The pool was perfect with sun beds to loll on. Breakfast was beautiful and generous. The balconies offered a beautiful sea view and breezes.

Tangalle is a fairly sleepy town, with quiet beaches. Great place for a rest and recharge. There are a couple of supermarkets in the town centre, and a bottle shop. The beach is countless bars and restaurants.

I liked the size of the city - just right to walk anywhere, plenty of options to buy fresh fruit, fish and good local food. The bus stand was easy to be found. There were always tuk tuk drivers around for when you needed it, but sometimes they were too eager to give you a ride even if you didn't want to. The city always felt safe, even at night.. even for a solo traveling young woman. There was a great food booth near the bus stand selling the best shawarma ever!
There were plenty of beautiful beaches around, but the sea was too stormy. Nearby in Kapuhenwalla is a good turtle conservation project, where you could go see turtles hatch and lay eggs. I am definitely coming back~

Tangalle is really nice but it is far better just 2/3 kilometres up the coast at Marocolyia beach and lagoon.Very peaceful and tranquil.
This where Coconut Island cabanas is.There is also a small lake about 200 meters from the accommodation which is full with wading birds.Flamingos,Sacred and Glossy Ibis etc etc.

Location was absolutely stunning and probably the best of our trip to Sri Lanka.
The room was a good size with mosquito nets and right on the beach with a great view from the door. There was also a new sister hotel next door with a great pool, pool bar and restaurant that we had full access too which made this stay even better!
Service was outstanding and the staff even purchased a new sports channel while we stayed so we could watch a premier league football match during our stay.
Beautiful view of the ocean from our room, lovely to sit out on the balcony of a morning/evening and listen to the (crashing!) waves. Food was great, rice and curry exceptional as was the traditional kiribath Sri Lankan breakfast. Unspoilt beaches and not another soul in sight. Also got to release some turtles which the hotel had been incubating near the pool - very special. Restaurant, bar and front of house staff are lovely (as are the 3 doggies)
Great hotel for a couple of days to relax right by the sea. Great helpful staff who made our stay even better. The location on the nice beach and the large pool area make it ideal for recovering from the Sri Lanka adventure before. The room was also quite spacious and great for a couple's holiday.
Wonderful location at the quieter end of Tangalle beach, plenty of free sunbeds. Spent 6 nights here and found it very relaxing after travelling around Sri Lanka. Great Bungalow on the sea front - can hear the waves crashing from your room.
Very good location on the beautiful beach, very calm. The hotel’s dog has 6 cute puppies and my daughter said that it was the best place from all our trip to Sri Lanka 😊
