This beautiful property and accomodation would suit visitors seeking tranquility, beauty and a delicious, healthy chemical-free authentic Sri Lankan Cuisine. Surrounded by beautiful rice (paddy) fields and peacocks strolling around, the whole property is tranquil, restful, with a beautifully appointed and well kept garden that lives in harmony with its surrounds. Run by a wonderful family, who did so much to ensure we were happy, satisfied, and organised transport as well as safari for us. in spite of tricky logistics due to being holiday period. It accomodates Sri Lankan as well as international visitors, which is wonderful as I am Sri Lankan living abroad, and it was great to have good conversations with other Sri Lankans. We had our own cabana with 2 bedrooms for our family of 5. The cabana is a little dark but there is a nice terrace to get some light. The location is a little out of town but we had a car so no problem to get to the temples and restaurants.

For little over SL Rs. 3000, it was fully worth it. Conveniently located. 20 min to Wilpattu National Park and close enough to a few hotels & guesthouses with decent food choices. Room very basic but fairly comfortable. Fan worked fine. Bed was decent. It was nice having mosquito nets.
