I recently stayed and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The service was top-notch, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. The location was also convenient, Lake view and temple was front of my window.. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hotel Aquila to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Absolutely stunning property with modern amenities. Tucked away and private, often so quiet all you can hear are the birds. Very comfortable with thought put into creating several chill spaces which is great when traveling in a group. I love that there were multiple tv’s as well in each bedroom. The beds are super comfy with quality linen and showers had great water pressure. Our host Udara was an absolute delight, he was mindful of our privacy and never just showed up for caretaking unannounced. He cooks a pretty great omelette and the range of tasty curries he produced was impressive. The welcome pack of milk, tea & coffee was appreciated. The fireflies dancing in the warm night air at night were a lovely surprise. We will definitely stay here again when we return to beautiful Sri Lanka.

It was convenient with the restaurant and bar on the first floor, and also with the adjoining pizzeria. They were nice places to sit and work at. Also, the staff were very friendly.

I had an incredible stay at Lavinia Bay Beach Hotel! The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking views that surround the property—absolutely stunning. Whether you're by the pool, in the restaurant, or relaxing on your balcony, you're always treated to a beautiful backdrop. Speaking of the restaurant, Olivia, the Italian dining experience here is top-notch. The authentic flavors, paired with the aroma of pizzas cooking in the brick oven, transported me straight to Italy. The hotel also knows how to entertain its guests. I had a blast at the BBQ night and the DJ party—both events were well-organized and a lot of fun. It’s clear that they put effort into creating a lively atmosphere for everyone. As for the rooms, they were spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. It was the perfect retreat after a day of activities. What really made the stay exceptional, though, was the staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and inviting. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and more. Overall, Lavinia offers an amazing experience—highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

We absolutely loved the stay here. Best place in Mount Lavinia to have a peaceful stay . Spotless clean , spacious and comfortable . Staff is very helpful , specially the manager Mr. Shane is a wonderful person and he always seemed to go out of his way to help his guests. Just 100 meters away is the gorgeous Mt. Lavinia beach.
