A true local experience, not for everyone but if you are looking to find a place with no Tourist and experience local life this is great! The room is clean, very very simple, but it’s exactly how you see it in the photos! They explained to us the road to the water falls and in general our stay in Meemure was great! This is a brilliant off the beaten track hiking location. The cabins are just as they look in photos and very comfortable & private. We did the waterfall hike with Sajith- he was so knowledgeable and made our stay. Both an amazing sunset and mad storm!

Rohana was our favourite host and a stay in Sri Lanka. He is very helpful (helped us to find a way using public transport to get to his place, suggested several options for hiking), empathetic and so nice. The food they serve is perfect, portions are huge and deffinitely worth the price. The lodge is almost at the top of a hill therefore the view from rooms is phenomenal.
