Janik and the staff set a new bar for hosting that I haven't experienced before. Nothing was too much trouble and they made everything easy for us. We booked a safari through them, an excellent cooking class and transfers. Janik also gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. I can't say enough good things about the level of hospitality we received at Amba Kola.

Amazing place! Very unique! Also the host was super nice! There were no other guest during our one night stay. Still he made sure we had an amazing evening. He gave us a tour through the sugar cane fields, beautiful with millions of fireflies. Then setup a table with torches around it where we drank beer, played guitar and listened to music. Only thing we would change is stay longer than just one day.

Villa is ran by a lovely family who cannot do enough for you. They organised safari at a reasonable cost and we saw so many elephants! The hotel is located close to national park entrance.
Dinner and breakfast were like a buffet! So much home cooked food was prepared and it was very good value for money too!
Rooms were big with soft bed and good working AC. Rooms come with kettle, tea and coffee.
During my stay I was feeling unwell and the family helped me out which was very kind.

It's a wonderful place with a warmly welcome; you feel very welcome but still you can keep your privacy as they know how to handle tourists. The owner is a very intelligent man with a lot of knowledge, and he speaks english very wwll so you can have very good conversations. We totally liked our stay.
