It’s so peaceful
There is nowhere nearby so we opted for half board
The lodgings are set over several acres on a hillside - you can hear the river below 😊
The staff are very friendly especially ViMutday ( !!! Not sure how to spell but this is how it sounded to me ) who speaks excellent English 👍- he is full

Food was very good
We particularly loved the buffalo curd and palm sugar treacle 😋😋- dal excellent too
There is no alcohol available as it hasnt got a license - some other guests had brought their own !
We went to the waterfall - 20 min walk away with the 3 house dogs who are so gorgeous - they were our guides there and back !! - the water fall was beautiful and we swam in the pool there - glorious it was
We also had a massage ( amazing ) and had a really good early morning yoga class with a lovely doctor
The rooms are massive too and when you suss out the hot water the shower is great
It’s a very tranquil place out in the jungle - beds are massive and are very comfortable - staff are super friendly too

We have stayed at this bungalow and the sister property at Mini Worlds End several times and have always thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The bungalow has a wonderful setting amongst the tea plantation with a fabulous view directly to the Knuckles Range. There is a very clean swimming pool in the garden with the same fabulous view.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and filled with period furniture. The large attached bathroom, although old fashioned, functions perfectly well.
The food served is delicious and the staff extremely welcoming and helpful.
Unfortunately I was ill on this particular visit and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and supportive, even visiting me in hospital. By the way the illness was nothing to do with the place or the food!!
We will definitely return another year and would highly recommend the bungalow to anyone seeking a true heritage property experience with peace and tranquility and plenty of opportunities for walking.

I loved the homey feel of the whole place. I was greeted and made to feel at home as soon as my Tuk Tuk pulled up outside the driveway. I loved the quiet and the local nature of the place.

this is a beautiful location, a charming 1930's built bungalow on a working tea plantation. We had a wonderful tour with Dus who spent three hours showing us around the plantation, the neighbouring plantation and village and ending with a tea tasting - a real highlight of our stay. We were also very well looked after by Vish - supper was great value too - and lovely to sit by the open fire in the evening to read and play backgammon
