The room and property are clean, nice and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The owner is a husband and wife and they couldn't be more hospitable. They have a dog and cat, we love animals. They bought them out when we asked it we can see and play with them. We would return here again. I highly recommend staying here if your in the gal oya area. Really nice people and stay.

A rating of only 10 is not nearly high enough to reflect the experience at Gal Oya Lake Club. Prepare to leave here a positively change person. Warm and sincere staff treatment; outstanding food; highest quality top- notch massage and glorious lake views. Even though it rained almost continuously making safaris impossible, the wonderful facilities and services available made the rain a blessing since it kept us on this glorious property the entire time. The tropical rain actually enhanced the experience. And the glamping tent was over the top with luxury and service. A special thanks to Mohan and Lakshan for the tireless attention. To Thomas and Dinesh: we will never forget you!

Charitha and his parents are fantastic, informative and welcoming. Arranged a fantastic tour with a picnic and a guide who knew everything about the region and took great care into making sure we saw a lot of it.
The village is small and everyone is incredibly nice, curious and inviting. All smiles wherever we went.
Charitha's mother is probably the best cook on the entire island. There aren't many restaurant options around so this was such an unexpected pleasure. I'll dream about her lady fingers (okra) for a good long time to come.
The house is spacious and has a nice surrounding garden.
